Seriously, it’s not like Lichaa plays badly just because Pay is the one giving him instructions, he played badly under Hasler as well simply because he can’t handle the intensity of an NRL game. He has time in CC to do his thing, the defence isn’t constantly in his face, he doesn’t suffer physically as much from the opposition attention, in general the pace of game is slow enough for him to be on the front foot. In NRL games I believe he gets lost, things happen too fast for him and he can’t keep up, let alone get in front, be ahead of the game, thinking about the next play and the one after while executing this one, the stuff that an NRL hooker has to do.
