Yes, it’s 100% correct, I know Cookie and his older brother Simon.
Damo never wanted to leave but he was only going to be back up to lichaa. Des told him that so you can’t blame him for leaving. He loved the club but at the end of day he was offered more money and a real crack at first grade.

Lichaa is slow out of dummy half for a running hooker... his service is poor in both directions as to how crisp and quick the pass is... and his decision making is awful --> goes the wrong direction, passes to the wrong player etc... only his defence is of FG standard

he has had a lot of chances to establish himself in the FG team and has failed to take it and no amount of Des bashing or he has not had the right opportunities in FG or how well is he going in reserve grade will change that IMO

Be VERY interesting to see how he goes this week given his form in CC since demotion has been incredible, making the team of the week every single week and laying on try assists galore.

Pay needs to shut the fuck up and not tell him anything except "play like you have been in NSW Cup". Let the bloke manage his own game.

Seriously, it’s not like Lichaa plays badly just because Pay is the one giving him instructions, he played badly under Hasler as well simply because he can’t handle the intensity of an NRL game. He has time in CC to do his thing, the defence isn’t constantly in his face, he doesn’t suffer physically as much from the opposition attention, in general the pace of game is slow enough for him to be on the front foot. In NRL games I believe he gets lost, things happen too fast for him and he can’t keep up, let alone get in front, be ahead of the game, thinking about the next play and the one after while executing this one, the stuff that an NRL hooker has to do.

Hit it on the head. Will probably see him getting frustrated, waving arms around and generally not able to construct any worthwhile plays.

Wishing him luck tho as the score could really blow out.

The sharks have so many options and we have so few. A very well rounded team and their players have the ability to control the game.

Compare Morris to Pay. Probably the roster is a huge factor but...
