I love people say when teams lose the coach needs the sack, the coach picked the wrong team etc
But when they win it was all the players

Turbo for Morris... outstanding
Graham for chricton... outstanding
Safiti for haas... way better, haas looked well out of place in first origin
Wighton for Mitchell... he never missed a beat
Maloney for walker..l superb

So how much you give the coach credit where credit is due

The difference was Maloney and his on field leadership.

Not taking away from turbo because he was the star player but without the team pushing forward he would've been as useless as Ponga was .

Even Brad Fittler admitted it was Maloney who carried that team.
He didn't even know what Maloneys strategy was.
Fitler just let em get on with it.

I said when the team was announced it was up to Maloney to carry it on his shoulders because my main issue is how shit Cleary is. Not one try or try assist still in his career, we looked so much more dangerous when we had Graham in the halves, he’s not even a fucking half.

I was with him with Ferguson.

Saifiti he picked good, wouldn’t of been my choice I give him that.

If he had picked Maloney match 1 and someone else to partner Cleary we’re already lifting the shield. Don’t give who a fuck he throws in with Maloney but he’ll achieve more in 1 game then Cleary has his entire origin career anyway.

Im giving fittler the credit on this one. The players he dropped were not willing to all the one percenters like jack wighton has done this series as far as effort goes for your team, your state your supporters. Covering your mates inside in defence. Chasing everything like a dog as hard as u can. Always.
The players he dropped did not do that. The players he brought in did. The coach did that.
Mitchell wont play for nsw again while fittler is coach if he doesnt learn to put his team first.
He needs to pull his socks up big time.
