We have all read about the offer.

Is L.M worth $10m over a 10 year deal?

Are we going from one salary cap mess into another?

Fuck it I say. Go for it. It's not like a contract means anything these days.

It’s only $1m a season, imagine how much advertising and sponsorship he would attract. Then the other strike players who would consider us a viable option with Mitchel here. Wanting to play with him.

Plus there is no downside, we either get him or push up his price so the Chooks can’t afford someone else that we can then steal. Go hard, it’s a win win.

Is this a serious question!? We're currently paying nearly more already for a 1 legged 5/8!

1 mil a season for a latrell Mitchell in 5-6years will be chips...
Cowboys got a bargain with taumalolo for same price
I still think a Cameron Munster for that money would be better
But I say go for it

Will never get thru a 10 year deal. Will probably last a couple of seasons before either demanding more or other problems showing up.

No doubt the most individually destructive player in the game...

This should be seen as more than player value we’re receiving. This one signing could set a few more in motion, and help attract players.

See: Knights when they signed Ponga. Ramien, Klemmer, and Pearce followed.

You would only pay that for a spine player..

Totally worth it. Just watch his highlights on YouTube and see how destructive he is .

I'd be worried we'd end up with another Chris Sandow.

Rubbish ...he is the best player in the game at 21.....he destroys teams in his own and kicks goals...he will be the one surpassing Cameron smith for most number of points down the track....ponga is nowhere near latrells ability ...he hasn't got the strength
