What makes today worse is that the roosters weren't even good and 3 mill of talent wasn't on the park.

I think the top 6 teams would of won comfortably today.

The players don’t want to play under the Coach

That much is obvious even to Stevie Wonder

Yep....pure bullshit and I guess that they ( the Dogs) thought...... enough is enough.

We were poor again today but I agree with OP that up until that stage we were in it and actually put in an effort, but it seems that as in the past these decisions constantly go against us.
Yes, they are a professional footy team and they should put those things out of their mind, but as evidenced by not only the commentators on Triple MMM , but those on the ABC and others as well it was an absolutely putrid decision....AND the onfield official called NO TRY with the reasoning of a double movement. How can someone who has a major say in decisions get it oh so wrong????Let's just see what Mr Annesley has to say about this one and what excuse he will spout as to why it is just unfortunate and part of the decision making process....

I am sorry to say that our team has simply given up......not good enough I know, but the majority of us has too.......

I was never, ever of the opinion that we would win today against a side missing several players but even with that the Roosters had in their side representative players ( country and State) Hall , Mitchell,Tupou, Cronk, Cordner, Crichton,Taukeiaho, Liu.
We have several issues that have us in this situation.

Week in week out they never get a fair shake of the 50/50s and never the right side of the ref/bunker calls. It must play on the players minds ...they are only human and the frustrations make an average talented roster loose concentration and application. There is no on field leader, barring Foz and after the first try you could see him shaking his head in bewilderment (or disgust).

This group is better than their results, and not one player is in any sort of form, let alone career best form.

There have been basic coaching mistakes with bench, selections, singling out certain players for punishment and relegation, favourites and unaccountability for others. This is all on the coach.

We have a clear problem and it's getting worse and impossible to see a way out.

To salvage some kind of respect for the club this cant continue.

Its hard to win with 6 reserve graders in your 17 and another 10 in your remaining 13. Pay is either a dimwit or he has behavior issues he deals with by not picking certain players. I just dont think there is any point critiquing week to week because this is going to be our bundle until 2021 sadly. Good luck Dean. Please pick Ogden & toomaga soon. DWZ looks to have an eye socket injury so Meany will at least go back to FB.

I’m just shattered mate
Going into every game knowing we are going to get flogged
Feels Worse than 2008 when sbw walked out and we got lapped 3-4 weeks in a row
I’m so happy for the week off

Got to give special credit to Foran though
***** tried his heart out and run holes and lines that our bitch cream puff captain wouldn’t!

How good is not having ofden and toomaga in the side whilst roosters reserves were giving it to us in the middle

I know. Their forward pack isn't that great. We def should not have been steamrolled like that. Wish Pay would show some fight and passion.

This participation medal mindset he has about a young team needing to be better at it for longer is pathetic from a fg coach. Under 10s yeah sure.

Seibold, Bellamy, Ricky, Madge have no trouble blasting the players at pressers and telling it like it is.

Pay might get a bit more respect if he did it as well.

All fair comments...:upset:

Every week I await to see just what sort of poor decisions we cop and the officials never disappoint. I know that my head drops at some of them and it is extremely frustrating looking on from the side line so i can understand the players being dejected as well and it really shows in their efforts....

At times they give you a glimmer of hope with some enterprising play but in the very next breath they then concede a soft try. We compete for around ten minutes then it is like we pack up shop and just go through the motions. We cop a crap decision and the heads drop. The Captain pleads with the referee but he just turns a deaf ear.

Additionally, how can the players be confident in a coach who as you say, makes basic rotation mistakes and plays favourites. Our club is being torn apart from the inside out and it shows on field. We are pretty much a lay down misere for the spoon being two points adrift of the team above us and over 100 points worse for and against.I honestly cannot see us winning another game this year and I cringe at the thought of a lot more big losses.

Their pack is well drilled though, that's why they could let Napa go and bring in some youngster for a fraction of the cost and invest the coin into key starting positions.

Well what is another coach going to do when we can't afford to buy a marquee player until 2021?......I remember the words from the great Tommy Raudonikis when he was coaching Wests and they were going a lot worse than us at the time......at an after match press conference where they were again thrashed and Tommy was asked by one of the reporters what could be done to turn things around?.......Tommy's response, "You can only piss out of the dick you've got".
Well for a start the new coach can assess who he wants out of the playing group.

Then he can implement HIS structures and systems.

Then he can be apart of the recruitment drive that WILL happen when we are cashed up.

Instead of letting Pay go about his business destroying players confidence, by swapping around positions dropping and just overall bad coaching. Then the new coach walks into yet another shit show.

This years is a wash so just put Georgalis in and punt Pay immediately.

Napa has lost his aggression since his last suspension for his tackling technique. Not the same player since coming to the dogs.
The question has to be asked would we have been better off just keeping Woods? He’d probably be playing origin right with 3 other props now injured

Obviously there was alot wrong with this game - and apologies if it's already been discussed - but one thing that really killed us was early in the contest, Brown rolls a grubber into the in goal which had a surprising lack of kick-chase, resulting in a 7 tackle set.

In the replay, you can clearly see Cronk wrap his arms around RFM and prevent any kick chase. RFM stops at the line and no one else chases.

Then at the end of the game, we get awarded a Penalty Try for the exact same thing.

I don't want to come off as a salty Dogs fan but we're constantly fucked by the refs in calls from kicks. I can remember multiple times over the years we've had players binned/ penalty try's awarded against us for the exact same thing. Cogger was concussed and taken high just last week with no review.

If memory serves me right, the Roosters scored on the ensuing 7 tackle set. Obviously we need to be better at defending 7 tackle restarts, but we should never have had to. Cronk should have been binned (at worst penalised for escorting).

Were the Roosters bigger stronger and more aggressive.

Honestly this BYE is a god send. As far as I'm concerned we have until our game against the Knights on July 12th to get our shit together. We have 1 game in between 2 BYES against the Sharks, but that can be written off already.

Go on a fucking camp or something. It's as if these players don't know each other. Start bonding, voice out some truths over some drinks and a campfire and maybe something will come out of it.

Fucking just do something!!!!

Yep that was on Sue, who also copped a second one by the other rooster tackler in the same tackle. Can't remember who it was but they got penalised for it.

Just like the sneaky headbutt by Latrell on CHN that the commentators didn't even say anything about while they showed the replay.

Nailed it mate. That kick to in goal with no chaser to me just an indication of how much they care about the game
