I remember when some reporter asked Terry Lamb what he thought about Dean Pay getting the new coaches gig and he answered “Dean Who”

In hindsight that is so funny, now I realise what he meant

Forget how young the side is, even though he made it that way.

Forget the cap spin, DWS signing proves that is now Bullshit.

Judge Pay on:
- Result
- If the team is getting better or worse
- Team selections
- Bench rotation

His choices and dumbness has made us worse.

We aren't rebuilding... We are regressing.

Pay should instruct the team to:

push in every scrum when we don’t have the feed don’t understand why not.

Instruct the Halves and hooker they must take the line on at least 5 times a game and fullback to follow after receiving secret sign the play is on.

Forwards to offload 3 times a game

(KPI’s or dropped)

Surely our board are looking at getting in a new coach by November 1 who will be involved in the recruitment of all these new players come 2021. You would think this would be very attractive to a coach to be able to assemble a squad to his requirements. It usually takes a new coach up to 3 years to assemble the squad he wants. Our situation could cut 3 years off the process. Last thing we want is to waste this opportunity with up to 23 spots open on our roster (as was mentioned here), fill all the spots, THEN get a new coach in for 2021 and give him the squad he hasn't assembled. This could even be a chance to get a well established coach who would love the idea of being able to assemble a squad of this size. Problem is, what coach could that be. I just hope our board are taking that into consideration and if they are looking at Shane Flanagan as our coach they are including him in recruitment discussions. I only mention Flanagan as he is a premiership winning coach and attainable (if his ban is lifted). The only other premiership winning coach that could be attainable could be Paul Green. All the other top coaches look to be locked up for the next few years

Hes had 2 years. Enough is enough. The squad is better then this. The fact pay blames the squad indirectly shows he knows he cant coach

I think the team is just tired of the same crap structures that a) has less teeth than a newborn and b) results in a hammering every game.

Try to barge our way over the tryline 4 tackles in a row from 5 out with a forward? At least Des had players in motion and a strategy that made it a somewhat plausible play
