you don't see the attacker coming when you are kicking - so basically they get to smash you without you being able to position yourself in any way to defend your head. It's legal even though you are concussed from it.

Happens all the time we get a offload or quick play the ball and have momentum and it’s killed the next tackle with a routine hit up from Tolman or Elliot.

From Tolman. He is a momentum killer and I love what he brings to the team but he just needs to remove himself out of the road on the 4th. It’s so frustrating
