He is a Nz rep yes, when he first burst onto the scene for us he was massive, showed a lot of good signs, he didn’t do well at the warriors though, and although the injuries , I think another coach would get the best out of him... so unless pay is gone, and he stays we see a RFM that will thrive..

RFM has been hyped up for years but he just seems to lack a killer instinct and avoids a lot of the tough stuff.

He is a liability in defence too I'm not that disappointed if he leaves.

Rfm last year was playing very good footy hence his selection in kiwi test team where he done his knee and sat the year out
His played 2 fog games this year,
Lane had 1 good game at dogs, none at warriors, none at manly and only now had a few consistent games
It’s 50/50
Both arnt world beaters

Yeah but investment in youth is better then importing it for a variety or reasons. He played 33 games for manly. Don’t see how you can say he had zero good games.

Paid chips for him, then played good enough to make international debut at the club
Didn’t or haven’t see lane make his international debut for anyone or and rep team for that matter

He is a good player, similar style of play to Steve Price, however not consistent enough to be a clone. You never know with him. More of a follower rather than a leader.

Saw Ray at the Canterbury cup game today and he looked pretty happy. Big Frank also there due to the U16 NSW vs. Pacifika game.He was more than happy to sit with the others in our player enclosure. Still looks good enough to play.
