Lichaa and JMK have been given ample opportunity to perform. Although I’m not the greatest fan of Nu Brown he hasn’t been given anywhere near the same opportunity week in week out to show us anything. It couldn’t hurt giving him a couple of games in the top grade
Nu Brown & Lichaa will not be re-signed. There is no point of playing them.

JMK will remain in the no.9 jersey until these clowns recruit a new 9

Meaney is an average player who has been overhyped here immensely. Meaney needs to show some aggression in his runs and needs to be involved during attack. Don't get me started on JMK. He is only playing first grade because he is related to Benji. Both of these players won't even make any other squads in the NRL .

Comparing young players at the start of their careers as most on here expect billy slaters straight away, how about you learn to read and understand context you should work for the telegraph
Billy was a skinny little rake WITH ability when he first came into grade and improved to become an immortal,Meaney could bulk up to look like Rambo and still won’t improve cause you can’t give him courage.Keep reading Woman’s Day for your inspiration champ !

Didn't Slater score a double on debut against Cronulla? If Meaney had the footwork, steps and change of direction and speed that Slater did then no one would be complaining. It's not about size, it's about ability and footballing instincts.

Meaney is still young but better players would have shown more attacking ability by now. Ideally he should be in reserves to work on his game but we have no one better at the moment. But the club definitely shouldn't stop looking at fullbacks because we have Meaney.
Slater scored a double against sharks on debut but he was playing centre. There is a right centre spot in our team that needs more speed and Meaney should be tried there.

To take on rampaging edge forwards!!! Oh hell no, and he would end up 3 rows back when they threw him over the sideline in attack.

Meaney makes Brett Hodgson look like Asofa-Solomona. He never breaks a tackle, gets monstered in defence and doesn't have a step, instead running straight at the defenders. Now he doesn't even run it back half the time because he knows he'll get smashed. Compare that to Charnze, who we could have got at the same price and you see what a real fullback can do.

He is safe under the high ball and has straight line speed and that's about it. He can pass, but Pay doesn't use him properly in sweep plays..

He has no tries, no line breaks, 1 try assist and very few tackle breaks and offloads in 10 games. I've seen enough to say he's not the answer as he isn't the game breaker you need from a fullback these days. We need to recruit someone like Papenhuyzen or Drinkwater.

Biography:

Meaney, a talented fullback from the Newcastle Knights, arrived at Belmore and agreed to terms with the Bulldogs for the next three seasons. The 20 year-old, who was a Ballina junior, represented the NSW U20's Origin in 2017, as well as being selected in the NSW Residents squad in the same season in the fullback position. He was also the Knights Player-of-the-Year in the NYC and NSW Cup over the past two seasons. A star in the lower grades, Meaney made his NRL debut in round 18 of the 2018 season against the Parramatta Eels and finished the year with five appearances. He also crossed the try-line twice, came up with 16 tackle breaks, 2 try assists and is a handy goal-kicker as well. Safe under the high ball with great leg speed, Meaney will provide variety to the Bulldogs attack.

Its unfair to write off players who are involved in this mess we call our 2019 team. Confidence in your own play, your team mates and coach, is a huge factor in success. Under different conditions and a winning team, they may come good?
