So just read he’s been charged and looking at a five game suspension. The question has to be asked. Why wasn’t he sent off or at least in the bin for 10? The video ref picked it up. Tolman instantly yelled out he fucking eye gouged me. Where’s our benefit?

Wow, wondered what happened. Tolman normally does not go off but he was pretty upset. What a grub...

Raiders forward Hudson Young is facing a whopping seven game ban after being charged for an alleged eye gouge in Canberra's tense win over the Bulldogs.

Young was hit with a grade three dangerous contact charge on the head or neck of Canterbury prop Aiden Tolman.

He will be banned for five matches if he accepts an early guilty plea, but faces missing seven matches if he fights the charge and loses at the judiciary.

The Raiders held on to beat the Bulldogs 12-10 at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night to consolidate their spot in the top eight despite missing State of Origin stars Jack Wighton, Nick Cotric, Josh Papalii and injured captain Josh Hodgson.

Young made his NRL debut back in round three and previously served an 18-month ban for a positive drugs test as a teenager.

5 weeks early guilty plea, 7 weeks if contested and lost.

So the next 5-7 weeks teams playing Raiders get advantage.

That said though, with SOO players back he'd probably drop out.

They also had Horsburgh fracture his elbow yesterday.

Look at the tackler's face when he is attempting the gouge. He knew what he was doing.

To do it to Tolman of all players shows the type of character he has.

If it was another player receiving the eye gauge other than a doggies player the offender would not off been left on the field. No way should the raiders player have continued playing. A joke of a competition. Goes to show how this nrl has its favourites obviously were not one.

Used his knee to try and hide it.

Sounds like Ricky isn't too impressed by the dog act either as he questioned "what did you do to his face".

Don't be suprised if upon return he spends extended time at Mounties.

Serves him right if he does. Pathetic.
