Official Steve Mortimer inducted into NSWRL Hall of Fame

There is no thread on this as far as i know but Steve Mortimer has been inducted in the NSWRL hall of fame. Along with Tommy Raudonikis.

My favorite player and a hell of a nice guy.
I remember standing on the hill at the SCG the first two games of the 1979 final series with my dad, brother (who supports Easts) and a neighbor (who supported Wests).
Turvey tore up first Wests then Cronulla in those two games.
Congrats to a great player.

He should of played more rep games really but got stuck behind the golden child at the time Peter Sterling who only really had a good passing & kicking game didn't have the individual brilliance of Turvey .
