18 seconds in ... PENALTY STORM.

and so it begins.
How true that turned out to be. For offside inside the ten which the Storm did all day.

Sutton was pathetic today with his policing of the ten plus his management of the play the ball area. In one tackle Reimis Smith was bent over backwards by the Melbourne muppets. Plenty of turning the player and slow peels for the Storm, they got pinged three times for that and once for Cam Smith dangerous tackle all in the first half and they were the only ones we got......Melbourne got four in each half meaning they were perfect in the second....

Melbourne are such experts at being able to hoodwink the refs into not seeing penalties which should be awarded and once again I repeat a previous comment...... it is not the ones they give and the opposition gets it is the ones that are NOT given and should be.

Ballsy to give an offside penalty to the away team on tackle 2 haha
He quickly lost those balls after that...not another single penalty given for that in the play the ball for the rest of the game. The only other offside one was the one awarded against Reimis for being on front of the kicker from a kick off right near the end of the game....

That stoppage killed our momentum!!
Yes it did and it was extremely well orchestrated for excessive time wasting which they also did soon after ,when the trainer had to take Hughes over to the sideline to apply yet more head tape......when in my opinion Hughes should have been removed from the game for HIA....

Struggled to wrestle them onto their back and they shredded us on the set before that try.
The Storm never have any troubles in the wrestle and they rarely get pulled up for it..........

Just because his head was bleeding, doesn't mean it's a HIA.

STEP 2: OBSERVABLE SIGNS Visual clues that suggest possible concussion include: • Lying motionless on the playing surface • Slow to get up after a direct or indirect hit to the head • Disorientation or confusion, or an inability to respond appropriately to questions • Blank or vacant look • Balance, gait difficulties, motor incoordination, stumbling, slow laboured movements • Facial injury after head trauma

Still can't figure out how Hughes and Finucane aren't out for the game.
Finucane only played 6 minutes and sat on the bench for at least the rest of the first half.Must have failed that HIA...Hughes played 80 minutes.....lol.

These forward pases from the storm normally they get away with them but not a belmore
One of the passes was only picked up because the ref could not help but hear 12000 voices stating the obvious...

Watch that final pass from Chambers... JAC is on the try line, Chambers before it, when he offloads.
You are right..we all saw it at the ground , well everyone except those that matter in the decision making...

Seriously Munster could be penalised every tackle. He is the worst in the league for holding down and laying in the ruck area
So true. He is an absolute muppet and it annoys me when he holds on and looks at the ref appearing to ask him "how much longer can I lie all over the tackled player? "

Our average play the ball speed is up to over 4 seconds. I hope someone comes out and hammers the Storm for holding us down like what happened to us against Souths
Not a chance. Sutton ignored the fact all day after an initial rush of three penalties for that particular infringement and additionally allowed Melbourne to stand well offside each play the ball. No wonder we had issues making ground at times because they were practically shaking hands with our dummy half and support players. Some of the offside were so blatant that even Stevie Wonder would have seen them.....
