Naps is soft After he joined us. yes he had the injury, but he was a feared man and an enforcer at the roosters..we all knew him as a mongrel with massive hits an power!! He’s had a couple of good games this year, and saw some of that for brief moments.

Top bloke, love him at the club.. just want to see him fire up and get back to how he is known to play. When he does it will be a huge!!!
Easy to hunt when you are in a dominant pack.

Not sure why people were expecting Napa to be any different to what he currently is. Watch him at the roosters, he was never the forward leader, he was never this consistent metre eater, Napa is a bloke who can have a big game and have good moments.
Unfortunately Napa is abit in the same boat as T Rex, they have one big game every 3-4 weeks but they're paid based on that one big game

I wouldn’t put Williams and Napa in the same category.

Williams had no heart or the focus/commitment simply wasn’t there.

Napa has that. Just he was never a metre eater at the chooks. He’s just a bloke who can have a few hit ups (that make minimal impact) but can absolutely destroy someone hitting. Always been the same.

If he can make 100m with us due to more minutes and do his job defensively without being suspended and penalised hard it’s a solid prop. Nothing more.

He being in our team at least creates some concern for the opposition of where they are running as they are aware of his defensive ability.

After talking himself up again during the week Napa delivered this:

47 minutes, 61 meters, 22 tackles, 4 missed tackles

None of forwards did anything today, but very disappointed with Napa. Soft effort with origin coming up.

None of our players did anything much today at all. Cogger, JMK, Tolman and Jackson were about the only ones seen with ball in hand most of the game.

I doubt Napa will make the 17 without injuries or a dramatic improvement

Not much changed in 1 and half seasons
Haha I didn’t notice the dates there. He’s gonski imo. He was rated the hardest hitter in the game by opposition players a couple years in a row . He isn’t that player anymore

Nappa was a knee jerk recruitment decision based on an appallingly easy release of Klemmer for no compensation whatsoever by an incompetent board and coach who have since departed leaving us with said turd that is clogging the dunney and even a HUGE plunger cannot remove.
