No idea how legit this is, or exactly what fuckface carrot top is insinuating with his comments, but has me a tad concerned, considering we just recruited the bloke last month.

The Bulldogs are dealing with accusations a club official was involved in an incident with a Raiders official. The Raiders claim their head of physical performance, Nigel Ashley-Jones, was confronted at a team recovery session by Bulldogs wrestling coach Steve Babic, a former Raiders staffer. The Raiders are trying to obtain footage of the incident.

Babic was the clubman of the year at the Raiders in 2015, but left at the start of the year. He is the cousin of Raiders star winger Nick Cotric. Raiders insiders are fuming about the incident.

1. What apparent "incident" are we talking about?
2. Why would he be down there given he works for the Dogs, and Raiders train in Canberra? We haven't played Raiders in any grade recently.
3. Why would they want footage of it?

I'm wondering if perhaps Danny is confused, and is insinuating that Babic was down in Raiders territory trying to poach/bring over Nigel to the Dogs as well.

That would be far more plausible... and piss the Raiders off.

Weidler is a gossip columnist, like Rothfield. Nobody will ever taken them as serious journos.

Just struck me as an odd article and there are a lot of question marks about it.

At what other club would there be any mention from the media of a beef between a wrestling coach and a trainer or physio etc? Who gives a shit?

This is obviously some old beef these two have and we haven't even played Canberra yet so I don't see how this relates to our club.

Unless there's CCTV footage of this guy tombstone piledriving the other guy through a table and then jumping off the top rope to finish him off then as usual this would be nothing turned into something by Weidler.

Oh, good. Another "something may have happened even though nobody has footage of anything happening" story.

Man, these bloggers are getting better and better.

I have some breaking news. There may or may not be a professional rugby league player who may or may not be currently playing in Australia who may or may not have murdered and raped someone, potentially, possible, maybe, perhaps. This has serious implications, kind of.

There. I'm a journalist now. Hey, Daily Propaganda and Socialist Morning Herald, I just put the rest of your bloggers to shame with my ground breaking article.

Dont give up on Cotric joining the dogs. Its a real chance.
He just might be the Centre we are looking for and he is free to negotiate this November for the 2021 season - that's when we got the cash to splash.
