Brandon Smith - 180cm, 94kg

Cameron Murray - 184cm, 90kg

Victor Radley - 182cm, 92kg

Lachlan Lewis - 191cm, 90kg

No hope you say? Considering Lewis is an exceptional defender who can handle the defensive workload with ease, he is a young man who is still growing.

Lewis will be playing lock in a few years, if not, he definitely wont be playing in the halves in the NRL
191cm half? Yeah,na

I agree, Lewis will end up at Lock once Jackson retires.

They will keep him at half for now, re-sign him on mega bucks for a half than he will move to lock

Fair point on those players you just mentioned but at the very least if this is going to be the case with Lewis he needs to at least get a opportunity in the halves when we have a decent team put together

Why wouldn’t Lewis work at lock currently ? All he does is tackle and tackles well he’s much better then Elliot at it. With no stars in our lineup maybe we need to think outside the box moving forward to get results.
Because our middle third isn't strong enough to carry a lock like him, especially with our weak bench.

Instead of concentrating on sledging Lachlan should concentrate on ensuring he does not repeatedly kick out on the full FFS, besides in all honesty and in the real world right now Big Sam would have no problem at all in with fixing young Lachlan if it cane to a physical encounter TBH
Work on your game Lachlan, wait a year or so then let loose with your mouth......get your priorities right first.

We did the same thing with Mbye and consistently playing him out of position.

Lewis is playing out of position and whoever thinks Lewis is a half has rocks in their head
Well what is his position. Cause he is too slow and small for any position but halfs. If he doesnt make it as a half he will never play nrl

If Lewis is what we're building around then there isn't much hope, lacks a lot of the basic skills required from halves these days. Not much of a ball runner, ball player ir organiser..not to mention is he a 6 or 7 moving forward? There's completely mixed opinions about that on here.
Pay plays left and right nab. Number wont matter.

I forgot anyone who makes it in the NRL was a Superstar after a handful of games.
Lewis is our Half and thats his best position, once we get some troops back and hopefully topine recruits this will be a null Converstaion.

He let his actions do the talking on Burgess more than his mouth, Burgess just couldnt handle it.

Doesn't need to be a superstar, just needs to do a fuck load more than what he currently is. His skillset is severely limited as a half and being competitive and composed can only get you so far.

Totally agree he doesnt need to be a Superstar, although in the coming years I think he'll be up there with the best in the Comp. Needs to work on his running game & kick decisions, but what im saying we dont have anyone around pushing up or supporting Lewis constantly. Another CHN running around would do wonders, is why RFM not near his best (Far From) has hurt more than I was hoping. Meaney needs to get alot more involved, thjis will help also. Lewis reads the play well and his an excellent pass at the line.
