I was at Belmore on Saturday for reserve grade and I spoke to someone who said Meaney was sweet to play and they also said Big Papi is ahead of schedule and could be back for Manly but probably more likely for the game against Newcastle.

Had a chat to him recently. He said he was lost in his debut last year. Reckons he's playing at 86 kilos from 77 kgs. Hopefully he's better for the experience amongst the squad. Hope he kicks on and makes it his own as he is definitely the next in line. It's up to him as there is a golden opportunity.
