Holland by far the worst from the back five with defence. Okunbor got caught out wide and dropped balls on multiple occasions.

We have no options that are better. Apparently Crichton did not play canterbury cup today.

Now look at last week's stats and you'll snap your dick off and need to wear a sling for the rest of the week.

Interesting stats... Drop Holland, Smith to centre and Crichton to wing maybe??
Forwards lacking big bopper... Like Ogden hate tolman on 4th running or passing from dummy half

Our pack were dominated and our outside backs failed to gain any momentum... last week when we were dominant or atleast on par with the opposition pack our outside backs had time to move and gain some metres.... we are so soft up the guts and we didn’t aim up atall.... first half with early penalties and wind blowing in our face smashed us to pieces and last weeks massive effort had a big toll on us.

In saying all that no excuses it’s a professional sport and we atleast had to compete. We didn’t even rock up mentally today and for a young side I have no idea why you won’t be hungry for a win every week

Crichton not the answer...
But that’s the problem, we have no one

Crichton was injured in nsw cup last weekend. I’m happy with Meaney at the back he has been solid and I fell could get a bit more involved sniffing around the ruck for an offload or an inside option for the halves or off a forward.
Okonbur had an off day today. Hopefully someone tells him to put it behind him
Smith I’d like him to go looking for the ball more.
Hoppa also
Holland I really thought offload when under pressure that led to a try was a really bad brain fart! Needs to be ripped by Pay

Coaching staff needed to protect the young boys when it became apparent Dragons were reading our plays like a book and their line speed nullified anything we tried to create.

Flip script and try plan b (assume we have one)

Okunbor and Holland switch on last so Holland takes the bombs (Okunbor confidence shot)

Lewis was having an off day so hooking him and putting JMK to 7 and club fav Lichaa to 9

Not changing a thing made it an easy day for Dragons

I think what it’ll be is trial and error we will uncover some talent and also have dud players... just hope the club can sift through the crap and build a decent squad for next year... a lot of the crap off contract aka licha and Montoya we let go. Stick to smith and Okunbor as our wingers but we need better centres... hoppa got dominated by Lafai and we all know holland has 1 good game and 3 rubbish. I’d stick with jmk as Hooker also but we need a couple of big front rowers. Like parra and warriors game the front row sizes of those teams just used us as speed humps
And nothing more. To strong and to big compared to our pack.

Meaney Hoppa Smith all decent..

Jaydens just a rookie 3rd game in, entitled to have a shit show.. maybe good for his development to have a spell in reserves?..

I cant defend Holland.. been in FG long enough..

Na, it's not Pays fault. All losses aren't his fault but he is the reason we fluke a win.
Same logic applies to his critics. He’s working with a young side.... of we’re going to flame him for heavy losses we shouldn’t dismiss good performances as flukes. We’ve been good the past two weeks. We were really poor today.

Well if the norm is 30+ point losses, a win does look like a fluke.

He isn't getting flammed. He should cop the blame as much as the shit roster does.

Well we already knew we'd have a weakened backline this year so no surprises there. When you get rid of the Moz's, recruit a Penrith cast off and throw in a few rookies, you're eventually gonna have these type of performances probs more often than not.

I can be sure of one thing, Meaney and Smith will be very handy players in 1 or 2 years time.

He’s totally getting flamed.... and so is our roster, which is very inexperienced and light in a few key areas. A week ago everyone was over the moon. People in this place are shears too optimistic or two pessimistic. It’s one extreme or the other.

We played well the last few weeks. That should be as clear to people as our very poor performance today.
