I think we all know that most of the Canterbury Cup players are bad / not ready, but at this point, we have nothing to lose, so may as well try them in first grade. There are a lot of TK members who clearly do not watch the Canterbury Cup lol
Maybe, but Meaney for example did not even show up and certainly should not be rewarded. Ogden and Martin yes. Cogger is ready to go but I'm backing Lewis to be better over the coming weeksI think we all know that most of the Canterbury Cup players are bad / not ready, but at this point, we have nothing to lose, so may as well try them in first grade.
We have around $750k at the moment, so we can forward contract some from next year into this year, unless we find someone worth signing before 30 June (and they are looking heavily). Keeping in mind that we have to spend 95% of the salary cap in any one year.Does anyone know ~ how much salary cap space we have going into next season?
I think we need about 1.5-2 million to fix this roster. Until we can start using that type of money I think you can write each and every season off.
I stopped reading at Holland ‘speed’No one to brag about in reserve grade !!!
Time to go Crazy !!!
1 Holland...his speed and power could be a master stroke, hopefully can defend better there
2 Crichton
3 Hopoate...we need to tighten the defense
4 CNR...as above
5 Smith
6 Lewis...Freeze frame is not a halfback
7 Foran...must control the team / game
8 Tolman
9 Lichaa...must QUICKLY pass to Foran
10 Fualalo...sadly he is the only prop with impact and meter gain
11 Napa...ineffective in the middle could be damaging on the edges
12 Martin...no harm in trying ???
13 Jackson...a must at lock
14, 15, 16, 17 take a pick !!!
