Sad that another player who played lower grades with us has come back to bite us on the ass. Adam Keighran played for us in 2017  Its just unbelievable how our roster is the way it is
Apparently he assaulted someone at a nightclub on Sat night

News hasn’t broken yet but that’s the whisper this side of the Tasman

No idea if it’s true but I heard whispers that Elliott is on pretty big coin.
wouldnt surprise me, parra and knights were chasing him at the time and we would have been fooled into a big contract ala Mbye

I don't understand why we signed Napa when we had no specialist centre? We can get by without Napa but we really need specialist centers to defend out wide.
I think we needed another prop to replace Klemmer the signing that is perplexing is CHN. It’s not a knock on him but adding another second rower when we already have plenty of depth there is dumb when we have so many other areas that need strengthening.

Agree mate, we’re definitely lacking another big man.

Pay has to fuck off the idea of JMK on the bench, if he offered something, like some spark/speed I’d be ok with it, but he literally offers nothing, I mean nothing!

At least throw Ogden, Smith or Martin in his place.

Totally agree, the way the forwards got dominated we can’t afford to waste a bench spot on JMK. If Lichaa goes down so be it. Ogden or Smith would be my picks they are hard runners and will get the team moving forward.

I loathe that rothfield maggot but his words were spot on about our roster and salary cap.compared to other rosters we are a 6 mill team that's paying overs.
were a mess and it hurts to see. 4-5 years until we're back on track I reckon.
Pays trying to bring back the old values which is great but we need to evolve as a club as well so hope he finds that balance.
Agree
About 5 years before we’re top 8 material.

I might get slaughtered here but with rumours going around renoylds could be back before June deadline would be a welcoming addition. Yes his not skillfull and yes I wouldn’t wana pay the big money his on. But the kid has heart and loves the club. Not once did he not try when he was on the field. He brings more then just a skill set. Yes I’m clutching at straws but if you ask me as an avid bulldog supporter do I want some passions for the jersey back. HELL YES and josh has that.

Let’s be honest we ain’t going to attract a cronk, Smith etc etc to the team no chance. Morris boys said no thank you to a 1 year deal and that speaks volumes. Bring back the kid back home and begin the rebuild while we atleast enjoy a bit of passion if that’s the only thing we can enjoy this year.

If Tigers paid most of the freight I’d take him and put him in at hooker. Wouldn’t want him near the halves or paying much money for him. I can’t see it happening anyway.

Nope thats going backwards, we are going through this shit to move forward... foran and reynolds are the most injury prone halves in the comp why waste more money

Exactly... I’d rather hold onto the $ and spend it on someone with skill rather than ‘heart’

The only way he’d fit in is if tigers paid 75% of his salary and he replaces JMK off the bench. I think that will be the best way to use him. At least you know he’ll provide some spark coming off the bench.

I got slaughtered on here for a similar suggestion that we could certainly do worse than have him back and operate out of dummy half for us. I wouldn't expect his body to withstand the full 80 in the middle but 40-50 minutes he'd certainly be handy.

Compared to our current #9, his skill set is an absolute bag full of tricks!

I don’t really like the idea of bringing him back to be honest. He’s so injury prone now and his shoulders wouldn’t be able to take the work load in the middle but if Tigers paid most of his contract then why not.

It doesn’t matter about 9.5 million or 6 million, our team isn’t bad we need to pick up our mojo and we will. It’s round 1, people need to relax and be patience.

Agree 100%... the other issue is, there aren't enough top players to go around, unless a miracle happens and all of a sudden we find gems, we are going to struggle for a long time to come.
We need to throw cash at future stars, the Knights threw big money at Ponga, something like $1million over 2 years which was big for a guy that wasnt really tested in first grade or at the very least offer the lure of a starting gig, those two things can attract young talent, I think there is enough talent pool, we only need to take a look at NSW and QLD cup, even UK super League, we just need to be smart about it.

Man anything is better then what we have. Yes I’m only judging by one game but the writing is on the wall and we will struggle to keep away from the spoon. A bit of enthusiasm and passion won’t hurt anyone. And I also agree not in a half role but a dummy half or utility off the bench or something... piss off licha to lock or something as he can defend well which is the only thing he does.
