Disappointed with that line up... wtf was the point of buying Meaney if we cant even give the kid a shot in round 1, didnt Pay openly say that our club is a place were young lads looking for a chance will be given a go, all lies. Montoya at centre yuck... Hope we win but not impressed, especially with Martin not even in the extended list.

Probably as good a team as we can have. Still not sold on Hopoate as he is just to slow,
and I am not sure what JMK offers. I have faith in the coach and pretty sure he will prove me wrong.

Montoya has a big question mark, but I think a lot of his defensive issues last year were mainly due to Hopoate's poor defensive reads to be honest.

I'm more worried about what he offers in attack. He's not the fastest, strongest or most skilled player that's for sure.

i dont understand the hate over hoppa being ahead of meaney at fullback, going off trial form hoppa was on fire and meaney was okay but nothing spectacular. I actually think putting hoppa to centre is a bad move he is dead average there, we are definately short a centre though, if we could get a decent centre instead of montoya than the backline looks much better

I cannot believe Smith/ holland are not together,, for the life off me why break up a perfect combination which scored heaps of tries. Montoya at centre is a real challenge. I don’t understand why Meaney isn’t in and hoppa not in the centres. Big plus I’m looking forward to see how The Prince goes with Foran. Well not as excited as I was some off the fire has gone out but anyway hope it works out,, go the dogs.

It does seem Pay rates him higher than his ability, like Elliot. You see a lot of both Montaya and Elliot in the Dogs promo materials too I notice.

This backline really lacks pace though. Only Smith is quick and no Morris brothers this year.
