Yeah and one of those games even dates back to 2011, they don't play many internationals here, you can almost bump up that average to take into account 'modern odi rules & batting inflation'

They were heading for 400 at one stage there, but still an absolutely massive chase for this inconsistent batting lineup. Going to take something special, can anyone stand up?

India should be a bit disappointed there. The really could have put us to the sword.

I'm reminded of the days when 250 was a great score and 300 was a freakshow

Even though this won't be our exact batting lineup for the WC, still a good dress rehearsal for the players chasing big scores. The WC is during England's summer, they won't be producing green tops. England's form has been pretty piss poor in the WI but they will produce pitches that play to their strengths and that is scoring big runs, they have a phenomenal record the last few years both posting and chasing huge scores.

155 needed off 17 overs at 9 runs per over. This game is so evenly balanced. One of them needs to bat to the end.

I'd say its India marginally ahead. Maybe 60/40
