I dunno if it would be $700k but there’s no way he came here for peanuts.
Yeah not peanuts but he was relegated to the bench last year for Kikau, so I think somewhere between $400,000 - $500,000 a year and the security of a four year deal is what got him here. Penrith wouldn’t have been able to offer him anywhere near that as they had too many of their top line juniors to upgrade.

Rhys Martin and Morgan Harper won’t be in round one side

Pay tossing up whether to play Montoya at right centre or Reimis Smith with meaney on the wing.

The rest is pretty straight forward with only the cogger and Lewis situation being withheld

Is this confirmed or your opinion?

Fark, please don't tell me Pay is seriously considering Cogger in front of Lewis.

Unfortunately for Cogger he should only be a fill in if required for the moment.

Holland and Smith on the right flank.
Nothing will keep Lewis out, he's the mindset.

You would want to start with your best side on the field i'd say... RFM and CHN should be starting all day everyday.
Not dissing your opinion, i just think they both better suited off the bench.
RFM has come along beautifully since 2017 and injury fucked the 2nd half of 2018. Showed he can handle 80 mins but i think his aggression/impact off the bench probably better for team.
CHN has shown huge potential and whilst i am keen on him - what i have seen in trial, would start him off the bench for the first game and perhaps next 3 after that.

CHN has been a tad disappointing of late in the trial and Maori game.
I think that might just open the door for Ofa Ogden to get a run.

I agree he would be massive for us off the bench but then you have to transform him into a prop. His style of footy better suits a man in the middle but sadly I don't think its gonna happen.

How we could possibly line up in my eyes..

Napa - 8
RFM - 10 or 14
Martin - 12
CHN - 11
JJ - 13

I thought Holland looked good on the left in the trial.. I'm a big fan of the Holland/Smith combo, but it's nice to know that Holland can produce on both sides if Pay chooses to use him on the left
Agree.
I say keep Holland on the left after his trial form, also most gun centres coming off contract soon are right edge specialists.

It’s a dumb idea to spilt Holland/Smith with so many new combos at least you know that one works in attack.

Intresting what Deano said in his 2sm interview how versatile chn is and that he can play centre , second row or straight up the middle , and when asked about being stacked with forwards the first three names mentioned are martin, jackson and rfm

I wouldn't mind seeing Hoppa and Smith as a combo tbh.. Kerrod and Smith were great but having Kerrod on the left gives us more options in attack, rather than having one strong edge, and the other winger potentially being stuck along side Montoya

I don’t know if it's realistic that a player can play centre well and also play as a middle forward?
