So there's 20 minutes to go on nrl live.. Am I hearing that we lost? Is game is 20 minutes delayed?

Overall based on the first half team we are looking good. Some really good passing movements. Okunbur defiently isn't ready, his defence is shite.

Mostly full strength raiders team with additional 4 'officials' against our ISP team.

raiders had almost a full strength team for most of the game, ran over our ISP team in the second half

Pretty much. A good thing, reveals our weaknesses. Whos up to the task and who isnt.

Bulldogs would be a lot happier then the Raiders. They were not even in the game to our starters went off and they had an unbelievable penalty count

2nd half has been painful to watch

I agree need to get our dicipline in order to many penalties against us especially off side penalties. At least our best team was on in the 1st half maybe canberras were best team in the 2nd half we were ordinary,

Pathetic ref. That was our 2nd string team and they couldn't even get a chance to play some footy. As if you would put a player in the bin in a trial. It's just pointless and stupid to do so. Why give so many penalties all the one way... let the guys run some moves and do something more than just defend. Barely got a decision right.

Wow, did Canberra just win the Premiership? FFS it is just a trial game and seriously if that is the best that they can do well Ricky will be cracking it every week.

Our boys that are not going to be in the first team come round one ( Okonbur, Olive) are having Barry Crockers.

Some positives but also a lot of negatives for our first real trial of the year. Our big guns Tolman, Napa, Jacko, Hoppa, Elliot all took no part in the second half.

It’s a trial. The only concern should be injuries or if they were beaten by 50.
Zero importance.

A few conclusions from this trial:

I can’t see Harper or Okenbour playing FG for a while.

CHN was quiet as was Martin. Chris Smith was probably the best forward out of the reserves team.

Meaney won’t be Fullback ahead of Hopa

Not looking too much into the 2nd half as Deano tried to see what he could rely on down the track.
We gave them a hiding in the 1st half when both teams were at full strength.
In saying that, whoever signed on with Classic Sportswear and chose that strip to wear, should be tortured and shot so they can be put out of their misery!!
We look like a bunch of yobbos who found their clothes in a Smith Family dumpster....how embarrassing!!!!!
Everyones shorts looked like they were 5XL....I thought they were going to fall off and end up around their knees....FFS!!

The Raiders were at full strength in the second half, and had the penalties flowing their way all through the game for easy metres. It wasn't until we were down to 12 men that their experience and the weight of possession got them over. Even then, the last try was a joke. Nothing went our way in the eyes of the officials.

Overall, I'm impressed with the way we went about our defence and attack. If we'd had 80% of the ball, and a Raiders player binned, the score would have reached 50.
Nothing to be too concerned about. The team showed some promise. Our biggest problem this year will be the officials. Same as always.
