I still think jerseys need collars.
They look too much like t shirts

The theory is removing the collar gives the opposition something less to grab onto. If the replicas had collars plenty would complain that they aren't the same as the players. It's a no win scenario.

Did someone from the NRL grow a concious, or is this an ethical standpoint the club or Classic have taken?

that anzac jersey isnt actually half bad, some clubs have gone way overboard with it before (manly 2012). Looks like we dont have a heritage jersey though?

It’s been like that for a few years that no junior merchandise can have gambling or alcoholic sponsorship on them. I think it’s a NRL wide rule.

That one is actually pretty light its got the most random signatures on the back like Gavin Whittaker haha. The new retro ones are really heavy.

I also had that one - it was the first available at the time which had the sponsor on it (was a pretty big deal back then to have an "on field" jersey as most were just generic).

I remember getting it at Mick Simmons in the city.
