Your obsession with only looking at one aspect, how fast a player can run, demeans the other skills that a quality NRL player has to possess. Seriously would you have the much faster Dufty instead? Ignoring his plethora of shortcomings just because he can run fast? Or Mbye? Boyd? Coote? Gordon? Whighton? Gutherson?

Where did i say i wanted Dufty? Hoppa's acceleration and agility is just bad, and it simply isn't good enough for a fullback and boderline for an outside back these days. So many chances have and will continue to be pissed away because he can't run into the space and will either rely on a pass or try to run over a defender. We need better.

I still think montoya is better than chrichton. He is taller, sronger and quicker. And i highly doubt that dean pay will leave out montoya from the side. Most likely: 1. Hoppa 2. Crichton 3. Montoya 4. Holland 5. Smith. When one gets injured meaney will most likely come in. If 2 gets injured meaney and olive will come in

1 Meaney....Was bought for this purpose
2 Crichton....He has what we lack speed and power
3 Holland.....His attack is good but needs to work on his defense
4 Hopoate....The only reasonably experienced back we have better suited at wing
5 Smith........The shining light of our back-line
6 Lewis.........The best young 5/8 we have
7 Foran.........If fit and stays fit he could become our best asset and a guide for Lewis
8 Tolman.......Not flashy but Mr reliable
9 Lichaa.........Like him or not we have no better
10 Klemmer....If he stays he is the best forward we have
11 Jackson......he is our captain
12 Martin........Generally reliable, our best goal kicker
13 Elliott.........He got better at season's end very passionate
14 Brown........He can cover hooker, 1/2 or 5/8 just ahead of JMK or Coggar
15 CHN...........It will not be too long before he starts

Tell that to Dufty, Mbye, Boyd, Coote, Gordon, Whighton and Gutherson, because quite plainly they haven't been taught and/or haven't learnt what Hopoate just does naturally.
Conversely why is Shirvington working on speed if it can't be trained?

I like Roumanos's potential, he has real bulldogs DNA.

At this crucial time it is extremely essential for the Bulldogs to be fair and reward good form,
If they are not fair things will spiral out of control.

I like this but I think Hoppa will start at fullback with Meaney in ISP to begin with.
I don't mind having CHN in the centers and I need to have RFM in the team. He was playing great footy before he got injured and he was a big loss for the season.

Looks like utai but there games are different. Utai just ran hard and straight, Crighton bouncing through holes and off defenders. My comment was also in regards to dummy half running.
