If you are referring to Tomaga, he should have gone in towards the back end of the season. Instead of sticking with Eastwood like pay did.

It all starts from the inside. Your centre and half/5/8th need to react quicker in defence or else the winger gets made to look like poo. Yes, Montoya didn’t have the confidence he had in attack like he did in 2017, but in defence it really wasn’t his fault.

Who saw Feki run around Smith in the last round. That’s because Smith didn’t have confidence in Frawley who was defending on the inside. Smith got caught between helping Frawley out or sticking on his man. In the end he got caught in no mans land because of that dud Frawley.

Ive been promoting him as a centre since he was signed. We lack a good centre and we have an influx of backrowers.

Perhaps, but unlike Montoya, Smith is actually good.

Will play on the edge. Just selected as a Kiwi in the pending test match. Soon to be an international edge forward. Won’t be moved to the backs.

I realise he is essentially a forward, but the forward ranks are pretty full There's RFM, Elliott, JJ, Sue, Smith, Ogden, Martin, Garlick, Burr, Nelson and maybe Lichaa.
The centres are totally different. Holland, Montoya, Hopoate, R.Smith, Harper, Olive, are the best of them.
I believe with the proper pre season as a centre, CHN would go OK. Probably Holland on the other side and Hopoate on the wing.

Fair. Our spine is inferior to most other teams so behind the 8 ball (at this stage from what we know about 2019 form and recruitment).

I think the club needs to be in the market for another #9 and an outside back. Hopefully we have a little bit in the war chest to attract some quality. I'm guessing our top 30 looks something like this currently hopefully we can let go of one of the ????? and sign (young brailey and katoa) as a package from Cronulla?. I'm really happy with the pack and depth we have, hooker and lack of speed and experience in the outside backs has me concerned.
