These latest events resulting from the “mad Monday” are just the start of more to come, it is not a surprise to me or to the true bulldog supporters.

If that was your company and your main goal is to maximise revenue, you would do the same thing.

The players want to accept his money, but dont want anything to do with behaviour that impacts the clubs/sponsors image.

We could be spending this money so much more wisely though the Leagues Club grant is going to be huge this year when you factor in Des' payout, low crowds, fines and lost sponsorship.

You mean like maintenanceon the volcano outside the Leagues Club? Do they still have that there? Haven't been to the Leagues Club in ages.

My point is that with the amount of pokie machines in the club, the reality of losing that sponsor is more like 20 minutes of pokie activity on a friday night.

Sad to say i have not seen a situation where our great club has to endure such bed press (every 30 mins on the tv channels), all those pretending to be loyal devoted supporters, but at the same time pushing out shit statements so as to justify there own misguided, uniformed perception if the true facts, which are, “we fucked up”
Being a supporter/ member to long to remember, i will remain the faith and take what is thrown at us, but in this case we deserve it.
