"We are looking at another forward"

We don't need forwards Dean, we need some decent backs and badly.

Canterbury will remain active in the player market with coach Dean Pay revealing he wants at least two more additions to the squad next season now the club's salary cap dramas have been settled.

...

"We've got a couple of spots to go. We need another outside back and forward. We're in the market for those types of players. We're not rushing into anything, we need to make sure we're getting the right people for our club and quality that's going to improve the group."

Pay has watched his future recruits from afar and has been pleased with their development.

The departure of Mbye will give Meaney an opportunity in the custodian role with Will Hopoate expected to shift back to the centres in 2019.

"We're excited for him to come to the club," Pay said of Meaney.

"There's an opportunity for him to put a stamp on the game and how he wants to improve his game. Nick has made his NRL debut since he's signed and for a young guy has done a great job. It's an exciting time for us. We're starting over and starting fresh. We're pleased they're going to be a part of it."

Pay added Foran was eager to get back on the paddock after a stop-start season that ended with a toe injury and any speculation he wouldn't be a part of the 2019 season was wide of the mark.

The Bulldogs are expected to have Foran, Marcelo Montoya and Raymond Faitala-Mariner return to full training for pre-season in November.

Any mention of Foran just absolutely triggers me, fucking hate the ****.
The fact that he is eager to get back on the field shows his commitment yet you wanna keep kicking him while hes down, and you act like it's his fault that he was offered a massive contract by des

A hooker is considered a foward right? Hopefully we offer a good deal to seggy if so!
Yep, fingers and toes crossed it is segeyaro.
Weren't a few posters claiming to be "in the know" saying the deal was as good as done?

Hopefully we re sign lichaa , he has been so good lately, would hate to see him in opposite team colours.. would hurt badly almost like seeing Thurston play for cowboys. Lichaa will be the best hooker that’s ever played for Canterbury you just wait guys and girls and believers

Back. Barba

Forward. Segeyaro

Only other option id chase is Taupau if he gets out of manly.

Don’t believe for a seconds chooks will lose manu. They just lost Ferguson.
That means they have enough for Morris, Hall, lamb (yes they signed lamb), Crichton and no doubt still have room for sonny, rts, frizzel and maybe scrape in sburgess

Need a hooker, bad.
I’m happy to go with the recruits and juniors in their regular positions, but a good hooker is a necessity. (Maybe the club think woolford will be ready)

Tapau doesn't seem to make the meters nor the impact he used to...I dunno maybe I haven't watched him enough this year..but he hasn't been dominant like a Burgess...

Use got rid of Woods & Mbye and now its time to get rid of the player which should of been the first player to go, the biggest overpaid dud in the history of our club - Foran

Foran, Lichaa = out

Segeyaro, Maumalo, Oates = in

Noooooo Hoppa stays at fullback unless we get Barba.

Barba - there's your outside back.
Segeyaro - there's your "forward".

Let's go 2019.
I like the sound of that.. but Keep dreaming unfortunately..

I cant see our club signing any marquee players in next few years unless we pay through our teeth which we wont do
