if we paid these mediocre players and one dud player this much , I wonder what cowboys, broncos manly, roosters, sharks roster is on
We need all our players to take up study where we pay for their courses like the Rorters with Cronk & it doesn't come under the salary cap.

We aren't in anywhere near as much trouble as the media hyped it up to be.

Basically we are:
1. Releasing BMoz, JMoz, Eastwood.
2. Unable to make any big name signings.
3. Need to sign 5 players for $100k each for following year in order to register a Top 30 with the NRL.

That's it.

Anything else being tossed around (Klemmer, Mbye, etc etc etc), is clickbait paper rubbish.

Confirmed by who?
Almost every figure quoted on this forum for players salary is exaggerated.
It's like their talking about the size of their old fella or the fish they caught.
Complete fantasy to think Foran is on $1m.

Foran was signed on $3.3m over 3 years while Woods was signed for $3.6m over 4 years.

All the Foran dish lickers are coming out trying to paint a bargain picture of Foran, that he was signed on peanuts trying to "justify" he came in cheap and good value for money.

Foran is the worst big money signing the club has ever made and we wont get out of trouble until he is gone from the Dogs.

Good riddance to a **** who rejected the Dogs on 2 occassions and than jumps on board on the 3rd occasion as noone wanted a bar of used goods

Kieran Foran has not played one NRL game where he has been 100% fit for the last 3 years.

Not only did the Dogs know what baggage and injuries Foran was bringing, sweet mother of Jesus knew.

That piece of shit of a human being by the name of Des Hasler painted a NRL premiership picture to Dib and the fools supporting the Dogs and little did they know the **** was just filling the pockets of one of his many Manly cronies who have passed through the doors of Belmore.

Good riddance to every Manly piece of shit who has come to Belmore

The original sign on was reportedly $2.4m over 3 years now you have it at $3.6m? Will it get to $5m by next round? He's on $1m in year three because he took $650k this year.

Numerous players (up to $800k worth playing for other clubs)

Foran, Mbye, Jackson, Hoppa, Eastwood all on overs.

I still dont get it!

Hopoate was re-signed by the previous board and Des, and at the time he was playing FB. Surely we didnt re-sign Hoppa on FB money as well?
Well hoppa was on unders when he first came over. So this was like the “well sort it out” contract. No way hoops is under 500k I’d say he would be over 650k.

Also Lichaa is on peanuts this year. So say he is on 150k. If it’s a 700k contract (just pulling out numbers here) next year he will be on 550k.

Mbye, Jackson, klemmer, tolman, Foran, woods will all get an increase next year plus any % of the cap rise.

So it makes complete sense to me.

And the selling players makes sense because say you sell mbye and cover 400k of his wages. But you free up 550k then that 550k can be used to sign a decent player who will offer more.

So way argument sake you off load Foran, woods, tolman, mbye. You have to pay 1.6 million from your cap. But you free up say 2.1 million. You can use that 2.1 million to buy some top of the line rookies or some solid first graders. Even though you are paying 1.6 for players to be elsewhere, you would think the replacements could do as good a job (Foran is a shadow of himself, tolmam has barely been fit this year, mbye is consistently inconsistent, woods isn’t a million dollar marquee player).

So ok you pay lots and you won’t be a championship team for some time. But at least you are stuck with horrendous contracts for 4 years.

Just one question. Why would we sign Lichaa on a $700k contract for 2 years when we originally released him & he didn't have any prospects at other clubs?

That was a made up figure. But I know he got a 2 year deal and the only way to fit it in was to backend him. So what ever he is on this year will be peanuts compared to next. So say if it was 500k? Would that be appropriate for a hooker floating around 100 games? Works out 250kpa and he would be on under half that this season. So it will still be 350-400 next year.

Foran was signed for 3 years at $3m dollars.

No he didn't. He didn't and can't mention any figures. They are confidential.
