Even the eternal optimist would say.

I have a better chance of sleeping with Mary Elizabeth Winstead than us making the 8

But didn't Aunty Raelene say we would win 2 NRL Premierships by 2019...…. we must still be a chance then :yum::tearsofjoy::tonguewink::sweatsmile::tearsofjoy::p

My usual instinct is to say that we beat ourselves, not the refs; but a few games lately have been decided by poor refereeing decisions and one sided policing of the play the ball. Witness Woods being grabbed a second time, yet copping the penalty which resulted in a Sharks try; the tap on the back of a Broncos player that gifts them two points and a win on full time - and the blatant tackle on Mbye without the ball, when a try was looking certain; and the player who should have been binned then scores the winning try. We are blown off the field for holding down in tackles, yet are held down for just as long without receiving a penalty. Our opponents get frequent back to back penalties which usually result in a try after 18-24 successive tackles; we are lucky to see a back to back set all game.

Woods has no one else to blame but himself. Yes it should have been a penalty but it’s no excuse for not playing the ball. Every penalty he gives away is a result of laziness and swings all momentum.

True. I was astonished to see him standing with his hands on his hips, not even bothering to get back on side, when we were struggling in the final 15 minutes.

Keep the dream alive, no RFM or JMoz, we may as well do what we can with the cards weve been dealt

Dean needs to grow a set and tell the NRL enough is enough.
