No it won't appear on either. They have insurance to cover these sorts of things.
According to Dib we had insurance and according to Dib we wouldn’t be paying a cent either. Imagine the excess on a payout of that magnitude it would be massive.

Affects the premium for next year but I don't think they have an excess on these types of policies. Like the shock jocks and their defamation insurance. The premiums just go up until one day the insurance company pulls out all together.

I reckon Des knows something about Barrett at Manly. Maybe this week, that coaching job opens up if the Roosters towel the Sea-Eagles up.

The Bulldogs and Des Hasler reach a settlement

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have reached an out of court settlement in regard to their case with Des Hasler.

Both parties have met in recent weeks to discuss the case and have come to an agreement on a financial settlement.

The terms of the settlement are covered by a non-disclosure clause included in the agreement between both parties.

Bulldogs Chief Executive Andrew Hill was pleased that the matter had been settled:

"After a great deal of discussion over recent months the Bulldogs are pleased to be able to announce that they have reached a settlement with Des Hasler. It was important for the club to be able to bring this matter to a close and move forward.

Our members and fans deserve that.

With this matter resolved we can we can now look forward to the future and making sure that we put all our energies in to making the Bulldogs great again. It is a time for stability and to build a strong base for the future. With this matter now closed we are in a position to do that.

We we would also like to wish Des all the best for the future."

Bulldogs Chair Lynne Anderson was in agreeance:

"The Bulldogs are pleased that we have reached this outcome. We feel that it is a fair one that respects both parties given the challenges of this unique circumstance.”

Lol at James Hooper tweeting that the settlement was for more than 1 million. How the feck would he know when there is a non disclosure clause meaning BOTH sides keep it within house. That no doubt would have been a specific requirement of the settlement. Full of shite as usual unless someone has been speaking out of turn in that case a law suit would be in the offing.

Hahaha..He tweeted that Milford and Mccollough were both out last night...WRONG. Now he says more than a $1 Mill. Could be a cent over or $2 Mill over. Pin the tail on the Donkey stuff.

The moron who extended his contract and the decided to sack him claiming the agreement was non binding should be taken to court for mismanagement.
An easy $1 million plus bonus for someone who rooted our club. Some people get lucky I guess.
