Thurston walking out on the Dogs at the end of 2004 is the biggest retention blunder ever and probably cost the club at least 2 premierships... but talk is that Thurston will not play on after this year and so, he would not be a viable option (even hypothetically)

for me, I would bring back Finucane... a tough, hard working middle third forward that can hold a pack together... should go close to Origin selection

Nah, some people just miss the guy. They are probably too timid to Doral up because done make out that the club is a religion and bring a fan of Reynolds is a mortal sin :p
Fuck me, did you have a stroke typing that? What are you trying to say?

I voted for Sam Kasiano ... as all our props appear to have gone soft in the off season.

Of that list - Barba in his prime, purely for his brilliance would be hard to knock back. The Sharks wouldn't have won their Premiership without him.

However as a passionate Bulldogs fan at this point in time - my choice would be Finucane. That man brought to the table everything that made this club great. Came through the grades here as the captain of our SG Ball and 20s teams, displayed outstanding leadership qualities, is a humble family man, and gave everything he had week in week out for the badge. Fearless, hard working competitor. If this club had any sense, he would've been our captain today. In my opinion - the heritage of this club officially died the day we handed him to the Storm
