Oh sorry you wanted facts... here you go then mate.

Perhaps speak to Kate McClymont (whom if she hits gold will destroy this Football Club board and force them all to step down), or any other league journo out there who are busy at work looking.

I can tell you they are all on the hunt and all it takes is one person, one snippet of information, and it's all over. When they find that information and it hits the media, the entire board will have no choice but to step down.

MARROUN - Endorsed by Football Club Board to Leagues Club Board.
A Fairfax Media investigation can also reveal that Mr Marroun, a former carpenter and builder, was bankrupted in 2009. According to this bankruptcy records, Mr Marroun is also known as Jabbour and Gabby.

In 2011 his bankruptcy was extended for a further three years after he failed to provide his bankruptcy trustee with information about his property interests and income. He was discharged from bankruptcy in 2015.

“I didn’t flee the country, I didn’t do a [Salim] Mehajer, I was in the trenches for a long time,” said Mr Marroun of his bankruptcy.

He said he had “learned a lot from the experience” and now has a national recruitment business which has contracts with organisations such as ANZ Stadium and The Star casino.

He also has $30,000 sponsorships with both the Bulldogs and West Tigers.

Mr Marroun, 39, is currently involved in property development with Bulldogs player Michael Lichaa and Josh Reynolds, who left the Bulldogs for West Tigers. Mr Marroun’s wife Enass is a director of MGJ Developments with the two footballers.

All the above in ADDITION to the banning from Junior League
...

ANDERSONS AND THE MCINTYRE CONNECTION - Endorsed by Football Club Board to Leagues Club Board.

Controversially, Mrs Anderson and her husband Chris, a former successful coach with the club, are backing the return of Gary McIntyre, who has the number one position on the ticket.

Mr McIntyre was the driving force behind the club’s salary cap scandal which say the premiership favourites relegated to last place after Fairfax Media exposed his involvement in making secret payments to players.

Not only was the club fined $500,000, it also lost close to $5 million in legal fees, settlement with the Australian Tax Office and penalty payments to Liquor and Gaming.

Although the position on the leagues club board did not attract a salary, the Herald revealed he and his family had collected close to a million dollars as Mr McIntyre, a suburban lawyer, was charging the football club hefty legal fees.

His wife Christine was employed by the league club in administration, his son-in-law was head of maintenance, and his son David was the financial director of the entity behind the controversial Oasis development, a joint project between the Liverpool Council and the Bulldogs.

In his pitch to “make the Bulldogs great again,” Mr McIntyre spoke of this “great relationship” with Lynne and Chris Anderson.

BALLESTY AND HIS SALARY CAP AWARENESS - Endorsed by Football Club Board to Leagues Club Board.
He said he was also “fuelled with enthusiasm by the return of his previous CEO John Ballesty.” Mr Ballesty, who has previously admitted he was aware of the scheme to breach the salary cap, was recently elected to the football club board and is one of the four nominated to the league club board.

Can you blame them after reading the above?

Can you hand on heart honestly say you are 100% confident in the above people after reading the above (and that's before one talks about others)?

I think a LOT will depend on what happens on Weds election results.

If before then journos strike gold and publish what they find, then members better prepare for voting again.

He might have resigned but he still came back to get into bed with Dib which wasn’t such a good idea.
Well Mr I seems like you've given all the info to your mates in the media to suit your agenda, I want to know if a person in your position is allowed to make such judgement, woops I'm about to be ba.....

and your factual information (of which you have offered up NOTHING to date) comes from where exactly?

I'm getting fed information from multiple sources, and strangely they all say the same things. Surely if this was all made up and ficticious that wouldn't be the case right?
Here you go! All of these were hyped up as being scandals and absolutely nothing came of it. She’s desperate to make something out of nothing.
Cowboys claim- she had nothing.

Where are these multiple sources of yours? You always have to be careful about being fed information especially around a election....

A few other FACTS people clearly don't realise here:
1. Lynne Anderson accused the actions of the Leagues Club/Peponis by adding 2 additional directors as illegal. Dr George Peponis is on the board for Clubs NSW (as of mid 2017), so would know what can and can't be done. He's also on NSWRL, NSW Clubs, RLWorld Cup, Keno boards, and a number of committees.

2. $300,000 in salary cap regulation allowances was paid to players via Leagues Club.

and if people think the current Leagues Club board are taking advantage and have agendas, here is full disclosure:
3. A relative of Peponis and Coorey were employed with normal wages to Leagues Club last year.
4. We paid $65k in legal fees last year from Leagues Club.
5. Barry Ward was employed by Leagues Club.
6. Steve Mortimers company was paid $7200 last financial year.
7. $54k was paid to Ray Dibs company for insurance services.
8. Arthur Cooreys uniform company was paid $30k, $20k less than 2016 for uniforms.
9. Director related expenses were down 50%.
10. We paid out $1.4 million in termination and employee benefits.

Existing Commitments:
11. $3.8 million in more poker machines.
12. $4.65 million in 2 x investment properties (now worth $4.9 million).
13. $5.3 million grant to Bulldogs Football Club (proving the lie in press release)

Expenditures/Assets
14. $6.2 million in Poker machine license fees.
15. $90 million in property (Lakemba and Canterbury Leagues Clubs) / $12.4 million in local property around Bankstown area (often rented to players).

16. $85 million in revenue ($74 million of that via pokies).

If I named all my sources and their positions, I'd soon have none at all wouldn't I :grinning:

How are you so sure that we won't have problems in the future given the past of those involved?

There is absolutely no sureity of it.

Surely you can agree that using the clubs official website and social media to force an agenda, is not only highly offensive to fans, but highly unethical.

As a Director and chairperson she should know better.

Honestly, this one actually has some truth to it. However, she couldn't dig up anything substantial enough on it. Which I guess shows she isn't the super skilled journalist Mr I is painting her out to be?

ok if lynne anderson achieves a majority and then in the future releases all the details about money, i want you to believe it

Possible Scenarios?

1. Anderson camp gets one of three director spots, end of discussion, they have majority

2. Peponis camp will all three spots, Anderson camp immediately seeks court injunction to prevent the two new Peponis "independent directors" taking seats, based on who knows what? Maybe constitutionally not allowable as football club is senior governing body?

You can never say you won’t have any problems in the future no matter who is on the board. No one has covered themselves in glory over the past few weeks. Peponis could have averted a lot of tension if he had just kept his mouth shut prior to the Football Club election.

He could have supported Dibs ticket and that’s fine but the way he came out and savaged the new baord has created this drama and devided the club. Now he’s pulled these 2 new directors at the 11th hour and I have no doubt if Dib was retained he wouldn’t have done this.

Anderson hasn’t been much better with the appointment Marroun and the way she has handled things hasn’t been that impressive. It’s been allowed to fester along to a point now that’s embarrassing the club and letting bottom feeders like McClymont get cheap headlines reusing information from years ago.

Dib couldn't be retained unless he was endorsed by the very Football Club board that was involved in outing him as chairman. He lost his position on Leagues Board the minute the Football board changed.

He probably decided not to stand because he'd get savaged in the voting.

The ball on this one is in Lynne Andersons court. She and the Football Club board should have been viewing how they could build bridges regardless who gets voted in. By that I mean endorsing people like: Steve Price, Peter McMahon, Steve Mortimer, ???. Allow them to be the medium between the two boards. Then, regardless of the result on Leagues Club Board, they could all have worked together (even if it was Peponis + Arthur Coorey + George Coorey).

Well here it is you stupid pricks. Its clear as day what her agenda is.You were all warned. They bleed $$ not blue and white.
Yes it is the family club my friend , but it's for the benefit of the family.

All I have to say is thank the footy gods for @Oatley Dog because if it wasn't for him, there would not be a lot of sense in this thread.

Bring on the AGM so we know wtf is going on and can move on and figure out how to win some damn games.

The Peponis ticket placed how to vote cards in the Greek Orthodox Church in Belmore today, which I felt was highly disturbing.

As i said, you dont trust us wogs.

All these cronies having a dig at Anderson claiming that she has her own agendas are the same people who are cronies of the current and previous board and they are shit scared of being out of work now.

its difficult to build bridges when the details of your private phone call to peponis ends up in the media, either the media is psychic, the media tapped the phone line (news ltd so its not impossible), lynne anderson told them about it or peponis told them about it

i have a feeling peponis told them about it and he is hostile to the current club board so its too far to build a bridge, its funny because dib was the guy calling for unity last year and for everybody to fall in line, now he wants the opposite of unity, he is disruptive even almost having fights

i have a wild theory that dib only said unity because he was on top at the time and wanted to stay on top

@Mr Invisible can you please dig up some information in regards to the development at the Leagues Club which is being carried out by Parkview.

Lets just say i know a mate of a mate of a mate who is a well respected developer and estimator and I am curious as to where the funds (from leagues club to parkview) have been channeled out to? Insurance costs are a bomb.

Oh i forgot to mention my mate of a mate of a mate has a cousin whose uncle is a member of the Canterbury-Bankstown Council as well as another son of a uncle from Auburn Council.

It is so plain obvious that Dib and Peponis are egomaniacs that would rather turn our club into Parramatta than accept defeat.
FFS let it go and let the new regime run the club and get us back on track.

Not sure... if you're going to float a statement posed as a question, I'm sure you can fill in the details.

If not, the best place to look is the Financial Report which is compiled and details all such things, as the clubs are accountable for such spending.
