Btw, I was in Sa last year and was drinking heaps of Taula- not too bad.You tried it? 8% and cheaper than Vailima.

Lol nah haven't been to Samoa yet. One of those ones NZ born and raised afakasi yet to visit the motherland.

Its funny when the family would come for a holiday and drink at my uncles house, put the beer in the fridge but the plug is sitting on top of the fridge. Even on holiday still drink it warm.

Any advice here is appreciated.

Will be in Munich in 2 weeks for 3 days, any recommendations on beer? I'm hitting Augustine Keller Beer Hall and the Hofbrauhaus (just because).

Anything anyone has tried here worth recommending?

I’m partial to a good cider, though. The orchard at the top of town makes one of the best I’ve ever had.

Have you had Angry Orchard yet? You can get them from BWS.

One of the smoothest apple ciders I've had. Goes down great with very low acidity to it!

There's this beer that they have at the Norsk Dor in the city and the Empire Hotel in Annandale that is made with chocolate, coffee and oatmeal. It's a brilliant beer but you couldn't drink a full schooner 'cause it's basically a meal.

Looks like Angry Orchard is being phased out in Australia

Dan Murphys have it on clearance, BWS are "reduced to clear".

So my favourite drinkable cider is GONE the way of the dinosaur.

Bought a Pure Blonde Crisp Apple Cider tonight to try and it's shit. Zero cider/apple taste at all. Just tastes like alcoholic soda water and sulfites.

the swindler tropical is not bad either. galaxy hops they have used in it.
i tried making my own brew for a while using that style of hop and huge fail.
