Feel we were fortunate to get his best years from him. Was a shame to see him leave when he did.

absolute legend, on and off the field

should have retired with us and never shown the door in the first place by the master imposter coach

He should have won a premiership with us.

Thanks for the memories frank the tank..

One of my favourite players when he was here!! One of the things I am most angry about with Des is the players he let go because they wouldn’t play desball!!

The only good thing about this retirement is that we no longer have to watch him play against us.

Well done Franky, awesome career mate ;)

Congrats on a great career Frank. I didn't rate him highly for his consistency before he came to the dogs, but he impressed for us every game. He bought more than just good football to the table. I think he was a definite leader among the players and you could tell he was liked and respected by everyone that he played with and against.

All the best for retirement Frank. Thanks for the memories.

After being a Bulldog pulling on an Eels jersey just didn't have the same buzz.
All the best to him in retirement.

Absolute shame we couldn't win him a premiership. One of my favourite Bulldogs of all time ! I will never forget the hit he put on Wade Graham in 2012 or 2011 had him bleeding from the ears ! Well done Tank

You never know sometimes. Maybe we can coax him into keeping his options open for a few games should we desperate for depth for whatever reasons.
