Hasler can change our structure, our game plan, out attack, our fitness. These are easy things.

He could never rebuild a team though. He is more fascinated with what a players heart rate will be after running 39 meters then picking up true talent.

The amount of players we missed out on under him, we could build a team that would beat our own team 36-0 every day of the week. And the back up kicker in that team would be 10x better then mbye and Stanley

Hasler was always more interested in getting 25 year old qcup players that have never played first grade thinking he will tweak something and they will be guns. Only problem is they never played first grade because they are shit and no matter what you do to them they will always be reserve graders.

Latrell has had his problems adjusting to first grade...particularly defensively himself...something that can be coached but what he did last night was pure self confidence, power, speed, balance, swerve...things that either come naturally or not. Combine him with Elgy, Ennis, Tapau, Esee Esse, Perrett, Barba, etc... let alone the lost opportunity on Maloney as not being rated by Des either. Throw in purchase of Dorothy, outlandish price paid to retain dud Mbye, the retention of Tolman, and of course recent loss of the 2 most passionate Dogs in Reynolds and Graham. Does ANYONE think Foran and Woods would ever show the passion these 2 victims of the cap did? Let alone the fact that when ...not if ...Des is shown the door that neither of the 2 new boys would really want to come to us...
Des has right truly fucked us up Bigtime, just as he did on the way out the door at Manly, but the longer the Board dilly dallies on the inevitable sacking decision, the longer before we can rebuild into the great Club we formerly were.

I just had a look and he has been in the system over at the Roosters since 2014, in SG Ball.
Not sure how you can blame the first grade coach?
