Perfect example was him backing up to score a try last game. Where were the centres and other backline players.

Tolman is underrated.... just gets the ball and carts it up.. every team needs a Tolman.

People on here are just using any excuse to bag Des Hasler now.

Weren't you saying you didn't watch games this season? That you kept up to date with what the kennel was saying and if they were going good your switch on at halftime?

Regardless of tolman did his toiling job or shows the mindset of this coach to pick tolman ahead of Jackson Klemmer RFM graham fualalo for the coaches award

Nothing wrong with being dead average , I just think this year he had a couple of shockers so should have went to join.

It's not about breaking the line and making yards , the flopper Hindmarsh was praised most games he played , due to number of tackles and off the ball work he did and he is a tonne less effective than tolman

Tolman was good at times this year. But coach's player of the year? Was he watching Jackson at all? Klemmer?

I'm not that surprised by this. He and Graham were the blokes who put in 100% every week. You can argue whether they were very effective in what they did but you can't argue their effort. JJ missed a number of games due to Origin and went missing a little bit in a couple of other games. Tolman did his job every game.

Well you know what this means. Dib will have to extend Hasler's contract until 2020 now so he can give Tolman player of the year again or the whole thing gets out of parity.
