I imagine forwards would run through brick walls for halves such as Terry Lamb and Steve Mortimer. They would have confidence that their efforts would be rewarded with attacking plays and points, Unfortunately doesnt apply today.

It's all about betting. League is just another betting product now, just like horse racing.
Hard to argue to be honest

As much as I want to believe it's a fair and just competition,
I can't help but feel there is things going on behind closed doors

Honestly

The storm

They are a real powerhouse since they started

And winning a title in only their second season

No secrete the nrl wants the game to grow in Melbourne

One has to wonder

What happens behind closed doors to enable the storm to be as strong as they are for as long as they have

It's by no accident
It's not cause those running that club are anything special

I believe it has more to do with the Nrl helping out

Every other club can not keep 3 super star players in the one team long term and stlll have quality players on other key positions like the storm can

Sure they shed players
But they replace them with other quality players with ease

I'm convinced the storm are helped out big time

If it was a NSW team I'm sure they wouldn't of kept the big 3. The just want VIC to bet on league too.
