Pretty sure for precautionary reasons they do that. I wouldn't read too much into it yet. I remember the trainer being with him on the field for a knee complaint but got up unassisted

There's an account on twitter called NRL Physio the guy that runs it is a qualified sports physio and he tweeted this-

David Klemmer appeared to injure ankle in 10th min, had it strapped after Ross try in 20th min, was replaced in the 32nd min & didn't return
