700k for Reynolds...just when I thought the T-Rex deal was bad! That is Thurston-like money! He's not that good. I'd rather get a decent enough half and get a better centre rather than pay 700-800k for Josh Reynolds. Yes Josh tries his heart out but come on we have to be realistic here.

Remember hunt got 900k, Cherry evans got over a mil and Foran got 1.3 or 1.4

The new deal is being negotiated shortly and if all goes to plan the superstars will go to 2 million a year. 700k is peanuts. 700k is the 450k of 2012.

It's still too much. I'd rather not pay that much for a guy who 'tries'. He's never going to be much more than B grade. I'm uneasy putting that amount of money in a 5/8 who is limited. The question is which 5/8 is better. Moses isn't, at least Reynolds can tackle. Personally, and I know he's buckeyes chance of leaving but I'd offer Ashley Taylor a deal he can't refuse. See if there is any interest. Offer Taylor 750-900k a year. He's the half we have needed for years, probably since Brent Sherwin retired.

Those 3 deals are looking more awful by the minute...DCE has been putrid since re-signing, Foran left after 6 months, and Hunt is bog average only the dragons would pay that amount for Hunt.
