Essentially said we are in trouble, and probably can't turn the corner for the finals.

Mentioned all our recent tries have come from luck and opposition mistakes, rather than our structure.

Claimed that we don't look like we can create enough to compete.

Sadly, I agreed with all his points.

He also said that our excuse this week will be poor completions, but argued that we aren't doing anything with the ball anyway, and aren't playing a style that allows us to complete

We have only been saying this for years lol. Des HAS to go before preseason, he has mudered this team and he is never going turn it around.
He did murder it. He came up with a good idea and chose the wrong team for it, he is on limited time.

We don't even have speed with the ball anymore. Even the backs are plodding up with it tucked under their arms. What a joke of a team!!

When I saw Sterlo in the title of this Blog I needed to respond. Sterlo has been commentating the last 4-5 bulldogs games and he has to be the most biased commentator towards the bulldogs of all time. Not a good word just gloating how right he has been about the bulldogs form.

Where was Sterlo's comments when we only lost 1 game in 8-9 games before the last 3 games the doggies lost? True we haven't been great in the last 3 games but then again we’ve played the top two sides in the competition and lost to Souths who have just hit form. Burgess may laugh and act

like a knob but where was Burgess when they got smashed 54-10 by Canberra? Where are Souths in the Top 8?

If people want Hasler gone, who is better than Hasler at the moment and attainable? I can't think of anyone. Only Bellamy would be worthy but he's at the storm for a few more years. Until then, Hasler is the man for the job. He's got an impeccable record for the finals. Not too many coaches have bettered

Hasler's finals records.

I have a theory and hear me out. It's a long season and even though Hasler doesn’t want us to lose 3 in a row before the finals he knew we were safely in the finals. Given that, he's instructed the team to work at 80% capacity to conserve energy because you need to be 100% for the finals.

If we made top 4 then we would of played away to the Cowboys, Storm or Canberra. I think there was a theory discussed where Hasler thought 5th, 6th or 7th is a better path to the GF then 3rd or 4th. Hasler knew the best position if we had won most of the last 4 games was 4th. Now we play the Panthers

and Hasler may see that as a better proposition. There is a strong chance the doggies play the Sharks in the next round as they'll probably lose to the red hot Raiders. We all know the Sharks haven’t been in the best form of late. Similar to the doggies. We play the storm or the Cowboys in the 3rd week of the finals if the doggies progress.

This may be a better position for the doggies form wise to actually obtain a win after 2 wins in the finals. I could be talking broken biscuits here and the doggies lose in the first round but all we know hasler loves his stats and strategy and he’s a finals specialist. I might be way off but it might work out better then we all hope. Go the Dogs.

Roosters 20 - Dogs 24
Dogs 32 - Tigers 22
Cowboys 36 - Dogs 0
Dogs 13 - Dragons 10
Knights 14 - Dogs 28
Dogs 20 - Manly 16 (golden point)
Broncos 20 - Dogs 10
Dogs 16 - Cowboys 24
Dogs 10 - Souths 28

What kind of form do you see from these last 9 weeks?

All these lower ranked teams have been thrashed convincingly by the teams above us, while we struggled to win against these teams.

We have been convincingly beaten by the better teams as well.

I can't stand "Dogs lift comes finals", what a load of crap.

How much more inspiration do you need when you got 1 foot in the top 4 and you need a couple of wins to consolidate the top 4 spot. We lost to Brisbane in Brisbane, fair enough, though we had the Cowboys at BELMORE and than Souths. 3 bites at the cherry.

Hasler has lost pace and touch with the modern game and it's time he pissed off from Belmore

It's true though. Haslers teams do lift for the finals. History has proven that. We got to back hasler and the players like ever before.

Plus I look at these results with a half glass full mentality. We've played this bad and still come out with two points. Imagine when we play well?

What has he proven?

In the 2012 GF he was totally outcoached by Bellamy

2013 we lost to the pensioners at Newcastle

2014 we played 1 good game against Melbourne
Struggled to beat an Understrength Manly
Fluked it against a Penrith team missing 7 of their stars
And got totally outplayed by macguire and souths

2015 we struggled to beat 8th placed shit dragons
And then beaten convincingly by Roosters

So plz tell me how we have a good finals record?
