so who should go and who should stay and what do we need

go - young, valencia

also where the fk is pereira
C'mon, don't understand what you have against Young and Valencia.. have noticed for a while now that you aren't fans of either players or Fellaini for that matter

Sure, they're not exactly world class superstars but both are hard workers and have enough quality to at least be squad players for rotation and whatnot

Young has really stepped up and stood out as one of the better players in our squad for the past 2 seasons, he's even managed to bench Di Maria and Memphis.. plus, he actually has the ability to beat his man and get in a dangerous cross whereas Memphis struggles to even beat his man and deliver a simple cross

Valencia is an absolute tank for us down that right flank, major reason why we came back from a goal down to win the FA Cup was because of Rooney and Valencia, while he absolutely frustrates me with his inability to cross at certain times, he's a very undervalued player in my opinion since others get a lot of praise while he puts in the hard work in the background - he's a workhorse, an absolute tank to push off the ball and doesn't kick up a fuss when he's not named in the starting XI

But since you asked the question, I wouldn't be too upset if the club sold Mata since we're absolutely stacked for players in that no 10 position and Mata's been somewhat of a disappointment since he was twice the player for Chelsea compared to what he is for us - as Mourinho put it, Mata's simply a luxury player

To win trophies.

They could made their intentions clear earlier. Signalled that we are ready to start challenging and winning again. perhaps then he'd have thought a little harder.

So, in actual fact...they could have done more.
But how would you know if we did or didn't make our intentions clear enough? How much clearer could we be if we were in the process of appointing Mourinho as manager?

It's almost a given that Bayern Munich will win either the league title or domestic cup every season.. the sole reason why he chose them over us, so how exactly do we counter that with a statement like signalling to him that we're ready to start challenging and winning again? Besides almost being a certainty that Bayern Munich will win at least the league title or domestic cup, they also have Champions League football and a manager now in Carlo Ancelotti who has an incredible record in that tournament.. so, potentially adding more silverware to his collection

Seriously, perhaps he'd have thought a little harder? Guaranteed titles in Germany or fighting for titles in England? How much harder could he have thought if his intentions were to win titles? Easy decision

Don't understand why you're so upset over a player who rejected us even though we would have been able to offer him more playing time, he says he wants titles and that's exactly what Bayern Munich can offer him while we can't exactly assure him to winning silverware every single season like they can

Courtesy of Jose Mourinho's official Instagram, his very first post on the account is of his Manchester United contract

It's his dream come true to be appointed manager of Manchester United so I can't imagine how he'd be feeling, seemed genuinely humbled and overawed by the club when he gave his first interview after signing on MUTV

Young and Valencia both provide 1 out of 10 good crosses but running all game doesn't make them good players

Also when pube head plays all we do is try and cross the ball to hit him

Yes it worked for the goal in the f.a cup but how many doesn't it work

What about Jose throwing grenades already

“One perspective is the last three years, the other perspective is the club’s history,” he said.

“I think I prefer to forget the past three years, I prefer to focus on the giant club I have in my hands now."

the way we've conducted business hardly instils confidence. Perhaps? Maybe? Irrelevant. I'm a life long fan but we are seriously on the precipice. We are close to becoming one of those basket case clubs living off yesteryear. I'f i can see that, players can see that. If I'm a player and see LVG, I'm playing in bangladesh before I go to United.

If a club signals its intentions, players take notice. IF United acted with a bit of class, said what's up, etc...Someone like Sanchez could be a possibility.

Eric Bailly has been announced a Mou's first signing. Definitely a good pick up. He is over 6ft so it will help us defend those set pieces close to goal. Felt so vulnerable last year every time there was a free kick or corner. Hopefully Jose can balance out such an unbalanced squad

For those who missed the past three hours or so of drama leading up to the start of Euro 2016

David De Gea was implicated in a sexual assault scandal, after it was leaked in the media, involving a porn producer, Torbe, and two fellow Spanish players, one was Munian and the other was rumoured to be Isco according to the media

Claims were that a protected witness came forward saying she was a victim of sexual assault and that Munian and the other rumoured player were responsible

De Gea became involved in these accusations because he was the one who apparently organised the meeting although he was not present and did not partake in the actual events according to the protected witness

Spanish media outlet El Confidencial have now reported that the police investigated these claims and found no proof to support the accusations made by the protected witness, the authorities in Spain are not considering calling De Gea, Munian or the other rumoured player to testify or answer because the claims cannot be verified and the players are unlikely to be implicated any further

Basically, De Gea has had his name tarnished for the past three hour or so in the media and by people on social media.. he was pretty much 'guilty until proven innocent' and I sincerely hope that his agent, Mendes, starts a lawsuit against those in the media that decided to jump the gun and accuse De Gea of being involved in such crimes without substantial proof

Just to be clear in case you're wondering how the police could have concluded that the players did nothing wrong in the three hours since the story broke in the media

This may be an ongoing investigation which was only made public after it was somehow leaked to the media and the media ran the story based off the leak which had named three players of the Spanish national team being involved in a sexual assault case

The latest update from El Confidencial provided afterwards concluded that the police investigation found no evidence to support the accusations made by the protected witness and hence the need to provide the update to distance the players from the original leaked story

Full article in Spanish can be found here: http://www.elconfidencial.com/espana/2016-06-10/torbe-muniain-isco-seleccion-espanola_1215117/ (can use Google translate if you're interested in reading)

Believe this may still be an ongoing investigation but as cited in the latest report, the police have no evidence to suggest De Gea had any involvement in such claims, so it's safe to say he's cleared for now until the investigation has finished or an official ruling has been made by the Spanish authorities
