The whole commentary team dug into the dogs. I loved the try off the drop ball. The commentators are yelling "The ref got that one wrong, the Bulldogs knocked the ball out and picked it up from an offside position", and they wouldn't shut up about it until the media guys showed it again from another angle which showed that they were all wrong and they all went silent.

I have just watched the game for the first time since seeing it live at the ground. How fortunate I did not have to put up with the ridiculous comments coming from Anasta on Sunday. What was his problem with us, it was as if Tigers could do no wrong and we could do no right. Thankfully the TV screen and about 21 hours separated me from his commentary or I would have thrown an 'accidental coat hanger" across his head and then listened to what he had to say at the time.

Yep I have been saying the exact same for years. One of the best was when they had fatty do the comments on a Manly v Canterbury game one time a couple of years ago and Manly made a nice break to score a long range try and fatty could be heard saying go go go you good thing..

I have heard both Johns and Fitler do similar things in Dogs games.

For fatty, it's because he's the most one eyed Manly fan going around, for Johns and Fittler, they probably had their weekly salary on the other team..they love the punt!
