That's all an opinion though, and even many would agree with your opinion - we still have to respect his beliefs. It's his choice and he is entitled to believe in whatever he chooses to believe in. That's not for anybody else to judge.
What does matter though is the impacts his contract will have on the team. It comes back to the club. This has to be the worst contract in Rugby League history.
Where to from here when it comes to NRL contracts? Maybe Hayne will come back to the NRL on a part-time contract, with his other half with the NFL. Paternity leave for all the new fathers? In Jamie Sowards case, 12 months Maternity leave? :rolleyes
