Round 2 and 3 we revert back to our forwards slowly taking hit ups from a stand still, also notice out halves barely get the ball in attack.

was round 1 just a fluke, has anything actually changed from last year ?

Manly are Shit that's why we smashed them and panthers are shit which is why we were able to come back

No attack...that's what happened. Had plenty of ball in the Eels 20 in the first half and did bugger all. Reynolds had a total shocker...especially his kicking game and Mbye wasn't any better. Also the forwards got smashed...looked tired and disinterested (apart from Graham) in the second half.

Manly were weakest, Penrith tried harder, and Eels were stronger than both. Eels were in the match with broncos for a long time at suncorp without foran, beat cowboys easily. They are in some form. Cowboys won both games each side of the eels loss, broncos are undefeated, we were till tonight.

Still remains to be seen how many of the points eels get to keep with their cap problem. Also would be interesting how eels would go if radrara got injured. he was in all their points tonight.

Tolman and Jackson were pretty rubbish tonight. They both turned the ball over at key moments, taking the pressure right off of Parra. Jackson missed 6 tackles. They both tried hard, but it didn't work for them tonight.

Lichaa is a huge loss, he helped organise the side with Moses. Manly being horrible in defence also helped us play with plety of time and space.

Reynolds can't organise for shit and offers very little support, and with the loss of Lichaa it looks like Des has reverted to this flat footed forward dominated rubbish as a result. Seriously, it is negative footy. Im sick of our fucking props getting in at first receiver and throwing a sloppy ball out the back ffs. We deadset just stand in a straight line running/passing sideways putting the defence under very little pressure.

What is the fucking point of having a fast half with good ball skills in Moses, yet have him glue to an edge most the game receiving shit ball flat footed with no options around him other than a flat backrower and centre if he is lucky? Why give him a multi million dollar deal when you can just buy another centre for 1/4 the price and do the same job ffs.

At the end of the day, parra had it all over is a deserved the win. Our defence is the only thing that kept the scoreline close till the final minutes.

Tonight Corey Norman showed how poorly Josh Reynolds was as a #6!! running sideways, not once forward, no one else in our team really knew what he was going to do next and it was not just frustration because we were getting beat he was doing the same right from word go not to mention his poor kicking game, he always seems off balance when he puts up a high ball, no accuracy at all. I know he bleeds blue and White but, sometime it takes more than that to win football games I am afraid. Hate saying it but Parramatta did a Bulldogs on the Bulldogs tonight and deserved their win, after all they have not had much going their way this past 6 years or so.
Garvey showed his inexperience tonight and I thought Rona better start again next week.

All Des has to do is watch the Tigers. Overall there side on paper is rat shit, but there forwards are having a go and getting quick play the balls. Its way to simple tbh.... But we like to run sideways....
