We are a very entertaining attacking weapon when we put it together. There were even glimpses in the roosters game up until we start handing over cheap ball and forget how to play the ball. Think we had the 4th best attack in the comp so Im not really worried about scoring points. Our kicking game needs to improve but that's up to the individual not our structure.
That only happens when we throw our gameplan out the window. When we put our game plan together we are incredibly boring and predictable.

we have the biggest forward pack in league history yet they play like pussies, what's the point of size when they don't hit the line at full speed

When our big boys when the battle in the middle then we can carve up. When we come up against packs which match us we can struggle in attack.
But seriously how many injuries did we have? The broncos had only 1 player missing for the GF - The young prop whose not an origin player yet. The cowboys weren't missing anybody. It makes all the difference.

Exactly. Idk how anyone can find our side entertaining. Our style of footy is bog average to watch.

I'd like to read a summary from someone here as to what they believe our gameplan is.

Give it to tolman on the 4th and a second rower or centre should receive a hospital pass on the last.

That has to be in there.

Have our forwards **** around with themselves and stroll sideways into the defence in an attempt to compress the defence and create space out wide for our halves (extra centres) and backline to take advanatage of.

Have all our players look confused for 3 tackles, then tolman will always take the 4th tackle and do nothing with it. Then on the 5th everyone panics and one of our halfs passes it to a forward who is forced to kick.

What you're describing is an attacking "structure" not a gameplan.

Fittler and Johns shit me commentating. They spend more time telling us what the teams should be doing than commentating what they are doing.

That's what they get paid to do... Analyze the game/teams.

If only Hasler could see this and make changes we'd really take it to the competition.

On the day if our team clicks there isn't a side we can't beat BUT we are yet to see the side click.

Seriously though, who did we have out injured?

There was an article saying we had the most missed games in the top 8, 4th overall though. Before the finals our starting 13 missed a combined 79 games i think. Souths missed about 40, but 20 of those were Kirisome, which had happened before the season... so can't really count

I think the main thing to take from that video is our game plan hinges around Graham. When he was out injured we played a different style, he came back and we revert to the same game plan that revolves around him. Not bagging on Graham love the guy but our game plan must not be made around him.

I'd like to read a summary from someone here as to what they believe our gameplan is.
Our gameplan is based entirely on percentage plays. Anything that is a low percentage play is outlawed. So that means every set of tackles involves hardly any ball playing and as many straight, safe hit ups as possible.

5th tackle plays lack any randomness or flair, as this is low percentage. So that means if we are far away from the try line we kick straight to a fullback or winger, and if near the try line we put up a cross field bomb which has a low percentage of going dead and thus giving away a 7 tackle set.

Our halves are not allowed to play what is in front of them, they are simply there to kick when needed and pass the ball to forwards for hit ups.

All of this is reliant on hoping the opponent makes mistakes, and that we don't make any mistakes.

No other team in the entire comp has such a rigid playstyle.
