I'd like to read a summary from someone here as to what they believe our gameplan is.
Our gameplan is based entirely on percentage plays. Anything that is a low percentage play is outlawed. So that means every set of tackles involves hardly any ball playing and as many straight, safe hit ups as possible.
5th tackle plays lack any randomness or flair, as this is low percentage. So that means if we are far away from the try line we kick straight to a fullback or winger, and if near the try line we put up a cross field bomb which has a low percentage of going dead and thus giving away a 7 tackle set.
Our halves are not allowed to play what is in front of them, they are simply there to kick when needed and pass the ball to forwards for hit ups.
All of this is reliant on hoping the opponent makes mistakes, and that we don't make any mistakes.
No other team in the entire comp has such a rigid playstyle.
