Brett was outstanding this year barring that hamstring injury. Cant wait to see him tear up nxt year.

Least involved fullback in the comp. Fact.

In saying that he did some great things but I'm sick of us habit make do fullbacks. I really hope we let abbey play there next year. I highly doubt it though

I guess that makes sense since hes normally a winger. Outstanding effort for 1st time fullback though

Apparently was playing injured did a post season opp and still needs more apparently
Scored a few great tries and generally back up in the middle
Issue is our halves were so disjointed we didn't know how to involve him enough

Our 2 players of the year were 2 guys who sat out a number of games due to injury, so, it says a lot for the rest of the blokes who played most games

If a joint player of the year award is shared by a front rower who kills the attack on every 4th or 5th tackle and a fullback still finding his feet in that position would indicate that the rest of our side is maximus crappus.

By the way what did Frank Pritchard and Josh Jackson do wrong to be left out?

B Moz gave us an extra dimension

That said I would still prefer him on the wing with the addition of a more natural fullback

Brett was ineffective against all the top sides. Not sure how he won it. Must be part of his contract.

Tolman, although plodded away in previous years, was extremely tough and solid up the middle defensively. He may not bend the line but he is super fit and can play long minutes. Only criticism is 4th tackle hitups, but other than that he was admirable.

I can remember many people kept saying frank was shit, too old, too slow, cant catch. Now hes gone no one has a bad word for him.

How many 200+ metre games did Tolman have?
How many 40+ tackle games did he have?
