Gallen and Bird hogged the ball all night, and made us quite ineffective

Farah showed he had no faith in the halves by running the ball close to the line

I think Hoffman should have got man of the match, he broke the line regularly and just kept going

Hoffman also hogged the ball on the 5th and dived for a try though.

Hogging all round from so many of the veterans last night

Good play in my opinion, Queensland had to start 1m out instead of possibly 20 or even 7 tackles!!!!

Would have been a possibly smart play if there weren't 3 or 4 other runs from the ruck in that same set. QLD didn't even have to read it anymore it became predictable

Gallen does this every week. The sharks will be better off without him like the tigers are better off without bunji.

I would have given Laurie Daley man of the Match, just to screw with everyone.

I think you're looking for "He bent the line regularly"

Yeah, same. IMO, he's not a bad player but is a bit over rated at times but last night he played very well. Ran great lines and hit them hard.

Yeah he did his part last night very well and his decoy run allowed Hodko to score!

Gal and Bird, whilst everywhere, were quite ineffective IMO, all they did was tie up the ball and limit our options

The game was won on defence so the best defensive player should have got MOM. Give it to the bloke with the most tackles

Hoffman was our best forward though

Gallen took too many hit ups 20m out from their line. We needed attacking plays in those situations, not Gallen and Bird with their pointless runs

Yeah we struggled to make meters compared to QLD, I think they just wanted to stamp their names on this game lol

It really felt like they thought "we got this one in the bag" and set about individual heroism as opposed to the NSW edict that they play for each other

Gallen's game play reminds me a lot of how some of the under 11's kids play
on the weekend. Most teams have one kid who just stays in the middle of the
field and ball hogs all game, taking 2 hit ups every set... sometimes 3 if they
are close to the line.

The worst part, is that their runs are really in-effective, and you need a court
order to get them to pass the ball. They starve the backs, the centres and
wingers are lucky to touch the ball once a game....

League at all ages should be a team game ... but players like Gallen and Bird
are proof that kids never learn to play the game as a team.
