News just in, SBW in doubt for friday nights clash. He is having scans on his pectoral later this morning as there are concerns of a possible tear sustained during last nights match against the raiders. Club doctors are unsure if its a tear in the Pectoral or the Heart

Des doesn't like to change the side because fundamentally it is seen by the side as being negative and he is all about positive thinking. This is great until the whole side starts performing like pea hearts like they did against Manly (with the exception of the Brown's and Tolman).

Hopefully the players take a good hard look at themselves (some more than others) and bounce back like Parra did.

+1 there is not really other option is there.

Compare this team vs our 2012 team, what a difference. The only brght side to this story is that its not our cemented team

I am throwing some thoughts to be discussed about our forward pack.
1.Tolman workhorse with limited impact in attack-sure he get over 100 metres but takes around 20 runs to get them. Also limited offload ability. Makes heaps of tackles.
2. Kapow-limited impact in attack replaced by Finucane 20min mark. Finucane to light to bend the line as a front rower. He is better as an edge player
Better option to start with Tim Browne who offers more grunt in attack, has an offload and tackles hard and give kapow shorter 15min replacement stint for more impact.
This would be my pack to take on the Roosters

Ennis
Browne

What do you think?

I dont know why some people torture themselves every week. Keating is never going to get dropped!!! unless he gets injured or goes on a bender he will be our number 7 all year. Truthfully, Hasler doesnt rate Hodgo thats why he goy rid of him at Manly. Stop bloody putting Hodgo in your side every week.

if hodgo is our nrl number 7 this week im doing the nudey run with Gallen

Hodgkinson was Haslers first pick at halfback in 2012 before he got injured. Keatings days surely must be numbered now that the team isn't winning.

Halatau was useless last week and has been poor all season. Can't wait till be get graham & kasiano back who would likely replace klemmer & browne

halatau actually saved a try on a barnstorming prop after being on the field for 2 min in the first hallf, he then went up the tunnel for treatment.. he came back to help the team when the game was gone at 20 nil.. shows his commitment to the boys and the club. He is playing well in a team that has had bad luck thus far..

id have brown dropped lafai to wing with Dene in the centres..

Try Hopkinson and put Keating on bench.hodkinson gets a chance to prove himself and Keating can cm on and play dummy half....and hopefully get us a running game in the ruck.
