Refereeing Standards

Bloody brilliant so far. The fact they take ownership for the decisions now is reflective of their performance. Shame it's a year late though.

Still early days but it's already a vast improvement seeing the ref's make decisions instead of sending every try upstairs

The reffing so far in the parra game is horrible. The refs can't keep the whistle out of their mouths

I'm not sure if it's the camera angle, but Mitchell Pearces passes seem suspiciously forward, flat at best. I don't get how the refs haven't picked it up, ever!

Anyone else notice this, or is the camera angle deceiving..?

watching the Canberra vs Panthers game... bad calls in this too... reffing standard still terrible IMO

Maybe I'm biased because I hate woManly, but Maybe it was just me but the amount of tackles that were high or players using headlocks, and there was no penalty's, apart from a swinging arm, I thought players weren't allowed to use that manouvre?.

I noticed simular in both Thursday/Friday nights games. So many looked forward, but as you said it might just be camera angles. Personally not a fan of that camera on wires.

Theyve actually been pretty decent in my view. Big fan of refs making a call before going up to the video.
