Iphones suck! I have a galaxy s2 and love it. I'd prefer my old nokia 5110 over an Iphone.

If you're comparing Samsung vs Apple they both have their pros and cons. Ultimately it’s up to you and what you use your phone for.

I'm currently using the s3 - Great phone,

I'll try and give you my 2 cents but there are heaps of comparisons on youtube which is worth watching.

PROS for Samsung s3 - Bigger screen, much better battery life (vs iPhone 5), Sync music, pictures, movies anytime, anywhere with on any computer, with a micro USB cable (drop and drag).

For the advance Android user you can root the thing (root as in jailbreak) endless amount of customization from updating to the latest Operating system that hasn’t been released yet. To 100’s of different launchers and app drawers its endless.

Additional memory slot for SD Card

Cost a lot less than Apple iPhone 5

Ive had an iPhone for a bit when my HTC One XL was getting repaired (I dropped it on the ground and glass was cracked) and I hated every moment of it, its very limited in what you want to do with it compared to the iPhone. the only good thing about the iphone is that it is very simple to use and thats it.

Samsung is all about features. Apple is all about finish.

with drop and drag can you drop straight out of itunes?
also can you watch all videos on it as in .avi?

I would love to try Android one day...just to try it and see what all the fuss is about. The investment in apps though is too big to just switch sides for what ever reason.

I have tried an Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 for a few weeks. Hated the OS, thought it was terrible.

The Android OS does allow more freedom for customization. The iPhone offers better stability.

If I was to use an Android device the first thing I would do is purchase a mobile anti virus suite. iOS on the other hand is the most secure device you can get.

I was once an Apple diehard.. switched over to Samsung, started with the Note, upgraded to the Note 2 and it's mind blowing.

The speed is incredible, features absolutely kill Apple. You can control the majority of the phone features through "s voice".. eat your heart out Siri!

there's just so much about it that can be said, but I personally think that words don't do much justice. you have to experience it for yourself.

It's a large phone I must say, but still fits in my pockets perfectly with no issues.

No brainer really. Having an Android device is like having a PC in your pocket.

Get yourself a Galaxy Note 2 and you won't look back.

I have the iphone 5 and the battery life is terrible when you use the phone. I have to charge mine through the day or it will be flat by early afternoon. I do use bluetooth when driving and I think that is the main battery eater, so have now learnt to keep my charger in my truck. The changing of the charger lead is also a pita because I have heaps of products that dont fit anymore like my home theatre system/docks and things like that. I know there is an adaptor but I couldn't find anyone that sold it a few months ago when I got the phone. Apart from the battery I love it. Have never tried the Galaxy though.

Able to source an adaptor, Bry? I purchased one with the phone, works well with all associated devices I own.

Also, have you seen the duracell external battery chargers? They are great for when you're in a bind...blast at least 1, sometimes two full charges to the phone.

The magic word was "like".

Other than the fact that Windows Mobile is designed and built by Microsoft, it has absolutely none of the freedoms and openness that its desktop OS has. So it wouldn't be "like" having a PC in your pocket at all.

Thanks for that I will check it out. I haven't looked for the adaptor for a while but might head to the shops and take a look now that it's been out for a little while.
